It's legit, take it from a native. But it's expensive!

The food is pretty legit. The spices are spot on, the paneer is fresh! Portion sizes are generous. Samosas are solid, the mint chutney that comes with the samosas is amazing, I think it was ginger and lemon in it, which is different (for me at least). There are a few tables outside (beware it's... read more

My husband and I have Indian food regularly at home in Toronto where there is a huge selection of Indian restaurants. Being limited to two near Fort Myers Beach where we are staying, we tried the first which was a miss. Passage to India is an attractive restaurant, hostess was very friendly, food was excellent. It is a little expensive,... More

We visited this restaurant despite reading the negative reviews we read here on this site. We had amazing service and the food was incredible. The atmosphere was really nice from the music to the decorations. This is speciality dinning not a fast food place. Our meals were made according to the spice temperature we asked for. We will definitely come... More

Food is on the expensive side- we waited for the "Dal Fry" for about 40 mins. - complained to the Manager about it- got it without a word of "Sorry" & instead got to hear - "Enjoy your Dal" when it finally came on the table. Will never go there again!!!

Food was below average, service slow and unprofessional, we had to ask several times to clean up used plates before serving next course. When I complained about automatically charged 18% tip (I would tip less for such service) I was told by manager that it is normal for party of 5 (we were 5 inclusive my 8yrs old daughter). When... We rung to ask if they open for lunch, a very cold voice on the other end told us that 'no' That's, no further explanation . I guess that they don't need give any explanation but that coldness give you such a chill that they don't need your business at all. Anyway, since my son is keen to have something... More

NOT OPEN FOR LUNCH!!! This restaurant ran a series of small ads in the paper advertising they were now open everyday for lunch for the season starting 11/16. My husband and I were excited because we love Indian food. We went and had lunch there a few weeks ago. It wasn't very busy but that is to be expected if... More

Passage to India offers a wide assortment of dishes from various regions of India. Our group of six sampled this variety and noted consistent high quality across all. Adapting to American tastes, special attention and warnings about degree of heat from spices is provided. Vindaloo is the hottest, followed by Madras. The former requires experience or courage. Service is prompt... More
