Don't get me wrong with what I'm about to say since I highly regard the partnership of restaurants, (Campiello's, Masa, Lurcat and others) in the area. My wife and I, with another couple, made our third visit to Cafe Lurcat this season so they must be doing something right. Their premium fish, i.e. yellowfin snapper or salmon, are second to... Our food was wonderful! The atmosphere was really nice, low lite lighting and great background music. Ordered the filet, cooked perfectly. Dessert ... THE CINNAMON SUGAR DOUGHNUTS are to die for!!

We have eaten here several times - the three different menus provide an excellent variety to choose from. The food, wine selection and service are impeccable. I must try for a truly wonderful dining experience.

We decided to stop here last night for their happy hour. Sat outside and ordered two beers and some $5.00 appetizers. Started with the apple, cheese salad and it was excellent. Very refreshing and tasty. Then I had two beef brisket tacos. OMG they were amazing. My wife had the fish morsels and ships and they were good. Moving inside... More

Great happy hour items for $5 price each plate. Great wait staff. The "Spanish mystery" happy hour Cabernet turned out to be excellent. Will come back when we want to do an early, light meal.

We had a mix of regular menu and the early dining. You couldn't tell the difference. The food was as good and pine dwell on all plates. They even customized some entrees to individual tastes with a smile. Our table was a tough crowd to please and pleased it was

The bar was busy and noisy. We decided to eat upstairs. This was my first visit. So glad we were upstairs. The room is something to behold! I loved the ceiling. It was not busy when we arrived.( Did full up later.) Service was excellent. Bread arrived warm and butter was soft. I could have made a meal of it. We... More

Where to begin in describing the bliss (happy) hour experience at Café Bar Lurcat. First, run don't walk to the 5 on 5th Avenue experience (4-6PM). All wine, beer and appetizers are only $5. The most incredible, delectable food at happy hour is largely right off the regular menu. The food (decent portion size) is the best happy hour offerings... More

This was a Christmas gift dinner for friends and we told them to select the restaurant. since it was a gift the cost didn't set us back. But this is a special event type dining experience not just a step in for a casual dinner. A dining experience with fab food. My husband's chicken was in his words the best... More
