A friendly tavern

I visit Capers several times a year and the food is always very good. The décor is that of your friendly neighborhood tavern variety with mucho television sets featuring all of the current sports being placed. The food is surprisingly good and the service is prompt.

We visited for lunch on Saturday. The Capers salad Sounded delicious. We both ordered it expecting the mixture of fruit and salad greens. When it arrived at the table, it was small for $13.95. There was one strawberry, sliced in 4 slices. 2 overly hard sugar coated pecans. No pears. The Lettece had started the browning effect and lots of... More

A lot of hype around this place, sadly, it was a let down. Service was great as was the crab cake appetizer, however the "stacked steak" was gross. Beef gravy with stew beef and cold mash potatoes, for 19.99. The ribs were extremely delicious and my son's cheeseburger was average. Not really for the family and that crab cake and... More

I ordered a large stack of gluten free chocolate chip pancakes. They were amazing! They were served with butter an syrup, but they didnt actually need that. My boyfriend tasted mine and actually said they were better than his gluten pancakes. I can recommend this place!

Located in a shopping center area, plenty of parking. EZ access. Good interior illumination. Staff is friendly, the owner walks around to greet guests from time to time. Menu selection is varied. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner served here. Smaller portion menu available at the bar if wanted.

Crab cakes were the best I've EVER had --- anywhere. From drinks to appetizers to entrees to dessert, you will not regret a visit to this absolute gem hidden away in Naples Walk Plaza. Wonderful atmosphere and awesome service, I can't say enough about our visit to Capers !

Food was just average, the drinks fair, service OK. Overall, for the prices this establishment charged it should have been better on all levels. The issue with this restaurant is with the owner/management. In particular, they crammed too many tables and chairs into a very small space. When the person got up next to our table his butt was in... More

Sticky table and wobbly. Had to send back food. Workers very accommodating but food and overall appearance not as good / clean as it used to be. We have crossed this off our list. Too many other fresh lunch places. We are really sorry.

My sister and I were born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland so we know a real Maryland Crabcake Hon! And, sady their crabcake misses the mark. Crabcakes in Maryland are made with lumb crab meat not tiny unidentifiable flakes of something. Seasoned with old bay, a little mayo, maybe a dash of lea and perrins and a small amount of... More

When this place was Sam Sneads it was one of our local favorite causal bar/restaurants. But now I is Capers and hasn't really changed much. Good bar menu and serve, Jamie, was very energetic and helpful. Would definitely go back again.
