Light tasty German food with fabulous service

Best German food I have tasted which includes trips to Germany and Austria. Local old friend knew it and we went. Don't miss it! Affordable.

We had heard about this place from some Czech friends who who had raved about it . We stopped for lunch and had an amazing meal. I felt like I was in my grandmothers' Czech kitchens. The food, choices of beverages and desserts is like beings in Europe. We had lunch and they serve dinn also. The service is excellent... More

Every so often we really like to have good German food. We saw the Alpine Restaurant menu when we were at Let's Yo late one evening and vowed to try it. The service was great (we did make a reservation through Open Table as it is season in Naples), we opted to eat inside but they have lovely outside seating... More

Our 2 couples thoroughly enjoyed the Jagerschnitzel. We could not pass up trying the Goulash soup as an appetizer and, of course, split a couple of potato pancakes. The Pilsner Uerquel on tap was wonderful. All in our party were blown away by the delicious freshness of the entire meal. A sampling of desserts and coffee at the end, completed... More

Loved this place. Bratwurst like you have never tasted. Side dishes were superb with farmers potatoes being my favorite with red cabbage and the sauerkraut coming in seconds. Goulash soup was full of meat and veggies. Save room for dessert if you like applestrudel but also try the chocolate pop. Mario was our server and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable... More

I've never really had German food, so the experience was different. I got one of the many sxhnitzel dishes and it was very tasty but rich and fried. The potatoes were very good. They also have a very nice german beer on tap and the price seemed reasonable for it. The waiter was very attentive. I actually can't find much wrong,... More

Went here for my birthday - wanted to try something a little different. I had the wiener schnitzel and my wife had the knedlo vepro zelo. Both were very good. Service was prompt and the restaurant was nice. I'd definitely eat here again.

This was our initial visit and yes it is a little challenging to find. The food was amazing and you shouldn't miss it if you like the food of Central Europe. The four of us took a Danube river cruise last year and were seeking some authentic food of the region. Alpines menu provides that opportunity and then some. We... More

We went here because of the good reviews on Trip Advisor. It's tucked away in a shopping mall and hard to find. We sat outside by a beautiful fountain on a warm evening. The food was a welcome change from the typical baskets of seafood and French fries at many places. My wife had the Jager Schnitzel. The portion was... More

Allow me to start by recounting that in 1985 I had a glass of Chateau Margaux at Fond de la Tour in Oak Brook, Illinois. Please stay with me on this, At that time, I realized, "Now I get it" in comparing that fine wine to the ordinary. In 2009, I ordered goulash at a café in Vienna, and had... More
