Our favorite place for lunch

Terrific soups and salads. Does not get crowded. It's hidden behind Bice so many tourists don't know about it. It's just like you are at an Italian cafe.

This is a chic true Italian nuveau eatery reminiscent of genuine northern/southern cusine. How do I know ? I graduated from the University of Bologna studying medicine and relishing the food. Chef Salvatore is world famous ( Bice ) , miami , Monte Carlo etc etc etc. He and his lovely wife Natascia along with co-owner D'Agostino are personable ,... More

My husband and I went here for lunch and had a great meal. It felt like we were in a cafe in Europe. Waiter was very good. Nice place if you want a relaxing lunch.

This charming food emporium which sells genuine Italian products from their well stocked refrigerated case filled with "salumi", cheeses and other assorted items, also has shelves stocked with packaged pastas, tomato sauces, Italian tuna and many other goodies and sweets. But the main reason to vist Dolce & Salato is not just to shop, but to stop and savor the... More

The Baker makes his own dough and sweets every morning. I had Nutella and Ricotta on fresh bread the first morning....fantastic! The Frittata the next morning was delicious! And the Latte was THE BEST!

I've been to this place a number of times. I don't understand the issues people have had with the owner. Everyone I've been in contact there has been inviting and professional. As far as food, it is primarily a cafe. Don't go there if you're looking for a hearty meal to fill an empty belly. DO go there if you... More

Traveling to Naples after 4 years, it was a great disappointment. Reading the great reviews that this site provides and going to this place upon the suggestion of a friend it was a great disappointment. It is not so much that the food was not edible. Actually, the opposite. It was very tasty but quite pricey for the amount one... More

I usually go for the good cappuccino, but even that became useless because of the rude attitude that the owner has. I started going there a year ago. I felt that it was mu niche, but I see that every time I would order a cappuccino, one could see the disappointment in the owner's expression! Being a single woman, I... More

The cappuccino is very good (sometimes) that means that if the owner feel okay that day. The inconsistency could ruin one's day. The owners need to speak to one another and decide how they want to treat the customer. One owner wants to offer things to the customer, the other want the customer to pay for every little thing, to... More
