Decent early dinner

Good service, fun happy hour options and the seafood on their regular menu was fresh but I'd have to say my experience was just average. I ordered Marlin this time (chef's special) and it was quite good but I have to say the meals I've had at this chain across multiple cities have been consistent... read more

The food was good and the waiter even nicer. Drinks were reasonable. They have a happy hour that is excellent.

Have had really good oysters. Unique eating booths inside if, you really want privacy. (Curtains will enclose you inside the booth) wine is Little pricey. However, I'am a wine snob who knows her wine so I tend to go with more top wines. All the food has been good.

While visiting family in Naples we went to McCormick and Schmicks Seafood for dinner. We were a party of 5. The calamari appetizer was average. Nothing spectacular or outstanding. I ordered the coconut shrimp and it lacked coconut and it seemed like the shrimp was not fresh. There was an odd after taste. I should have sent it back but... More

We stopped on a Thursday evening for their highly touted happy hour. The outdoor patio was minimally crowded for Mercato. We ordered drinks and appetizers. Coconut shrimp appetizer was 3 fried shrimp, minus the coconut. Calamari appetizer had 4 pieces of calamari with a few pieces of deep fried carrots and fried banana peppers (?!). We were completely finished with... More

We ordered fish that was breaded. Breading was all we got, not much fish. Very disappointing for a seafood restaurant.

Went to McCormick & Schmidt's for Brunch on Easter Sunday. We normally pay $16.99 for Crab Cakes Benedict and $6.00 for Bloody Mary. Easter Sunday the menu has Crab Cakes Benedict for $19.99 and below the brunch suggestions was listed Bloody Mary and Orange Memosa no prices. We thought the higher price for the entrees included the drinks. So we... More

In a city with many top-rated restaurants it was natural to expect that this branch of the well-known chain would uphold the tradition, but it didn't. While other restaurants are filled for the happy hour or early dining value menu, this venue was nearly empty at first then gradually became half-filled, and with good reason. The decor is quite outdated... More

Prices are high for the quality provided. Service was adequate but not outstanding. A pleasant interior but parking here is difficult at Mercado. Ok to visit if you use the "earlybird" menu 3:30 to 6:00, I believe (approx. $20 per person for soup or salad, one of six entrees, and dessert). Otherwise, way overpriced. Good reports from those who ate... More

Took company to restaurant and the food was average. The waitress was delightful but the wait time was horrendous. There is apparaently some trouble getting food out of the kitchen in a timely fashion. Nothing special when it arrived. With so many optioins in Naples I would nodt return.
