Stopped in to pick up lunch for the group. Personally I love these kinds of places with knick knacks everywhere, but I could see how the crowded areas wouldn't appeal to everyone - just a few tables scattered throughout all the things for sale. The staff are extremely polite and friendly, and the sandwiches were excellent. Not a great choice... More

We've been here before, usually with out-of-town relatives during holidays. Used a Groupon today but still left mildly disappointed. Cuban sandwich was large but lacked a good dose of tangy mustard. Bread was pressed and warm, but the meat inside was cool; an unexpected taste. Black bean and rice were OK. Service was slow, even at 2pm -- why was... More

Delicious sandwiches and even better desserts! This café is a quirky little place to stop in for a bite! Full of character it offers friendly (and attentive) staff, freshly prepared food (vegan buddies left full!), and neat variety of items to purchase in the store area. The outdoor seating is a very relaxing and laid back. Had a wonderful time... More

Nice fresh sandwiches made to order fresh daily. They serve them in a basket with chips. You can't eat inside, you have to eat outside at the tables. Sometime it's a little buggy. The sandwiches are good, but I was surprised to see them take products out of a cooler.

One of the biggest and best BLT sandwich I have ever eaten-we have driven here to just get it-150 miles round trip. Usually I can eat only 1/2. and take the other half home We always eat outside under the big oak trees. If you have never been to Micanopy it is a town where time has stood still. There... More

We enjoyed delicious fresh sandwiches, a veggie bean dish and exquisite cakes (carrot, lime, apple, coconut etc) outside on the terrace in this old little town (zombie town according to the kids). The service was really friendly! Be careful for the ant bites outside on the terrace...

We stop by this quaint little restaurant in Micanopy every couple of months and are never disappointed! I always order the Cuban sandwich and my husband orders the Club sandwich. The service is friendly, sandwiches are excellent, and the outdoor dining is fabulous!

We stopped by recently for lunch and to wander around Micanopy. It was a wonderful cute little town. It was like walking back in time. At the cafe, I had the cuban and the chocolate pecan pie. Both delightful! We had fun playing with the trivia pursuit questions left on the table. The staff asked us several times if we... More

I went because I like Micanopy and I saw that there was a Groupon. I ordered the BLT and a slice of Key Lime Pie. The BLT had ONLY 3 thin slices of bacon making it more of a LT sandwich. Minus the B!!!! OK, I had hopes that the pie would be the redeemer and the whole time that... More

If you are looking for a glimpse of bygone days - Micanopy is the town and the Old Florida Café is the place to eat. Driving down the street you can imagine what the town was like 100 years ago. Not much has changed except the influx of antique shops and of course the Old Florida Café. A delightful little... More
