Big sandwiches

The sandwiches were huge. But a note you have to go in to order, they don't serve outside. The inside of the store is an antique store as is EVERY store in this town literally. No clothes stores, no modern accessories, just antiques.

We love this place. Go here all the time for ice cream sundaes. The waitresses and cats are a hoot. They have sandwiches too, and luscious cakes and pies. Nice to sit in the shade on the patio and watch Micanopy.

Wife and I spent a day-trip in Gainesville and Micanopy. We ate here based on other Tripadvisor reviews, and were not disappointed. We each had the reuben, mine was with bacon, because the sign outside said bacon makes everything better. It does. Their iced tea was way better than other places too. Inside it's very crowded with antiques and a... More

My wife and I visit Miconopy each year on the 4th of July and my favorite part of the trip is eating at the Old Florida Cafe. The Cafe is located in an old house on the Main Street. It's filled will all kinds of antiques and has great seating in front in the street. The sandwiches are enormous and... More

Yesterday was our first trip to this tiny place. After walking around in the antique/boutique shops it was time for a bite. I liked the looks of this place-really old Florida. The music next door is old 50's music for crying out loud. It's not as if it was gangsta rap. We both had the black beans over rice. ($4.25!)... More

This is an old favorite, with tables under some old oak trees. BUT, the obnoxious place next door plays regrettable music very loudly. Drove us away. Too bad, because the sandwiches and desserts are really good.

Small sandwich shop/gift shop with very good cuban sandwiches and outstanding Coconut cake. Lots of outside tables with umbrellas. Definitely worth a visit.

The sandwiches and ice cream are descent, expensive. The store is too cramp. Need more room to move around in the store. Customers are bumping into each other and trying not to break anything.

We eat here every time we are in Micanopy. This place is always busy and has great Cubans and pie. Cute little shop and home cooked meals. Lot of history.
