Hubbie and I ate here after a day of antiquing in Micanopy. This was our first visit to the town and this sweet little cafe. Loved our sandwiches, I had the Cuban, and everyone working there was really nice. Enjoyed looking at their antiques that were for sale while we waited on our food.

I had chili and a Cuban sandwich. I was very satisfied and took home and the Cuban for lunch the next day. The Old Florida Café was a nice experience being able to sit outside and watch all the tourist walking up and down the street going to all the different shops. I had a great time.

First time visit to Micanopy, meeting one of my best friends half way from her home and half way from mine.Very peaceful place for lunch sitting out front in garden type atmosphere.Ruben sandwich delicious, very busy that day but no festival going on,unfortunately they forgot our lunch after I waited in line for quite sometime and only had to order three sandwichs... I was alone when I stopped in for an early lunch. Was warmly welcomed. You ordered at the counter, but they bring your meal to you, and I enjoyed sitting outside in the shade at an outdoor table. I had a BLT that wasn't bad (bacon a bit skimpy, bread was great) Also a bowl of black beans and rice... More

Motorcycling through Florida, stopped in Micanopy, the town where time forgot. The Old Florida Cafe serves very good sandwiches, and has a small ice cream counter. Antiques are on display inside, and available for sale. You place order inside, then find a nice table outside, in the shade, and wait a few minutes till they deliver. Prices are reasonable. If... Enjoyed nice lunch sitting outside. Lots of "antiques" all around. Sandwiches were very good. Very fresh bread and meats. A quirky place by my standards and I'd definitely eat here again. A good experience.

What a quaint old Florida Cafe. We had a Rebecca sandwich(a Ruben with bacon). It was one of the best Rubens I have eaten. The cafe was also an antique shop with lots of old pieces that brought back some good memories.

We are trying to move into Micanopy as a temporary move. We have eaten at the Old Florida Cafe twice and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves both times. My husband had the chilli topped with cheese and I ordered the red beans and rice add chopped onions. We shared the dishes and both of us liked them very much. I also ordered... More
