New York style sushi in Miami lakes

The whole vibe of this place is almost more New York than Miami. The quality of the seafood is outstanding. The fish is always very, very cold, and fresh. If you prefer more traditional, cooked Thai food like rice, noodle, or curry dishes better suit your taste, Thai Café has those nailed as well... read more

Based on the rave reviews, I decided to try the Thai Cafe. It was fine. Nothing noteworthy. Nothing terrible. Very nice, attentive servers. Extensive menu. But.... the size of the offerings and all the empty tables made me wonder about the freshness of the sushi. So, I stuck to the basics. Tuna & salmon. The roll was good, albeit the... More

The service was good and the food was excellent! I had never had sushi that I enjoyed prior to this. I found the food to be delicious and I especially liked the wasabi but use sparingly because it is powerful. I would have liked the lighting to be a little brighter but it was a nice experience and I would... More

I've eaten here several times a year for the last 4 years. I stay at the Shula Hotel across the street and love Thai food. It makes for a break from Shula's sports bar. Thai Cafe has gone down steadily. Tonight was rock bottom. Instead of ordering my usual curry shrimp, i craved vegetables and ordered Thai Cafe Connection: sauteed... More

You read that right! Thai Cafe has amazing food, and the best part is the quantity that they serve! I had ordered a Thai Fried rice, and GOSH the serving size was quite something! I am someone who tries Thai food on a regular basis and this place certainly has to rank as one of the best! Added to that,... More

Well priced and very generous helpings. My bamboo chicken was delicious. Very handy if you're staying at Shula's. Good, friendly service.

This restaurant has been in this location since I moved to this area in 1989. I love their "Shrimp Pad-Thai, Beef Curry and Beef Satay!" My husband and I eat at this place at least once a month. We never get tired ordering the same meal over and over again. As a matter of fact, our waitress already know us... More

Our family and friends have been coming to this resturant for 3 generations and I can only say that they have the best food and service in town. We recommend this place to anyone that enjoys fresh sushi and Thai food. They treat you like family :)))
