I have been to this restaurant in several occasions. The food has always been good and served fresh. Whenever someone comes into town and wants to have cuban food, I take them to Casavana.

The food in Casavana's is consistently good, the service is prompt if the manager is on the floor. If he's not there, prepare to wait. We eat here quite frequently since it's close to home and I can't say we've ever been disappointed by the quality of the food. The sandwiches are big and fresh. The food is plentiful and... More

I ordered the Marquita's to start off and in the sauce after dipping a few times I noticed there was a huge fly. DISGUSTING !!!!! I showed the waitress, she said sorry but not even the manager passed by. Then when I got my food, the rice was reserved or someone else's leftover. The rice had a piece of lettuce... More

We went last night to Casavana, we ordered the masas de cerdo fruits with black beans and rice and tostones, everything was good although there was a lot of fat in the portions, the flan was to die for. Real yummy, service was great, will recommend Casavana restaurant for original Cuban Food..

The tostones rellenos were excellent! Couldn't believe the portion sizes of the entrees and sides. The black beans were so tasty! A very busy restaurant, but the service was very attentive.

Excellent choice for Latin and Cuban food. Good portions and the best plantain soup in Miami!!! Their menu could stand additional appetizers.

It is basically just a Cuban diner. Like a typical diner it is cheap, greasy, decent food, nothing special, but the service is nice. It is very unclean; whenever I go, the cups are full of lipstick stains and the plates with finger prints or old food stuck on it----then again it is basically a diner so that is what... More

I went to Casavana, Miami Lakes, on Christmas Day . The food I ate (sirloin w/ vegetables) was poor in quality. Tasteless beef. The entrance dish (tostones w/ chicken too cooked (hard like a piece of wood ). The only good thing was the French fries, but not worth the hype. Service was poor, as well.
