One of the best brunch joints. Start with a mimosa and go with one of the amazing cakes, known to be Oprah's favorites while in town.
The menu selections sounded great but the French toast was overly sweet so went unfinished. Scrambled eggs arrived cool though the biscuit was warm and delicious. Our cappuccino was excellent. Sadly, the much acclaimed red velvet cake was dry with equally disappointing icing. And last but not least, service was very slow! We will give it one more shot in... More
Had read and heard so much about this boutique cafe', we visited it for a late Monday lunch. It was not crowded--about half full. Wonderful simple decor. Open kitchen and small full bar. We were seated right away and our waiter fetched oiur beverages. We both had easy orders--mine was a cup of soup with a half turkey club and... More
Sleek, modern new location. Good energy. Food was very good, not excellent. The cakes were excellent for dessert. Service was good, water glasses not always full, poured whole bottle of wine in 4 glasses without stopping. Overall still a lot of fun.
The sandwiches were terrible. Extremely dry and seem to be made out of cardboard. The cake slices were pretty good and the cookies were average. Definitely overpriced.
Interesting menu with healthy options, inside ambience nicer than tables outside. I enjoyed a warm salad with kale. Scallop dish was also yummy.
I had the spinach quiche for breakfast and it was delicious - flaky crust, full of melty cheese and fresh spinach. Their cakes and pastries look divine- I didn't try them because it was too early. Unfortunately, the staff is surly and act like they'd rather be in bed sleeping.
This place is awful. I had to ask the waitress 3 times for lemon for my water. The mac and cheese for my granddaughter was the worst I have ever tasted, gritty and soggy. My ribs were tasteless and overcooked. My wife's fish was way overdone and the veggies cold. A very kind assistant waiter brought a candle in a... More
I live in the South of Fifth area of South Beach and to my shame I have not visited the new Ice Box location on Purdy Ave. I was definitely impressed with the new updated and beautiful space, a far cry from the original Lincoln Road location. I couldn't ask for a better customer service experience. From the moment I... More
