I ate at Creek 28 in early December 2009. I guess I was expecting more based on the reviews. It is a little out of the way compared to oher restaurants in the more commercial areas.. The atmosphere is the best part of the expereince. You eat outside in a garden setting with candle lite. The food was reasonable prices... more

I arrived at the Indian Creek hotel, very tired, and was told about the restaurant in the garden. From the first bite of the grilled Romaine salad I knew I was on to a winner, Three courses that night, all excellent and two courses the other three nights, all except one starter were outstanding. A small menu but nightly specials... more

my wife and I eat all over the US and abroad. we chose this place based on restaurant reviews in south beach on a one night stopover before heading to costa rica. The restaurant had 3 great features: a unique atmosphere, a varied twist on classical food and exceptional flavor. We were impressed from the start, we both got a... more

You have in the Kitchen a real Woman Chef, who cares on taste and cooking. Original, American and Gourmet same time. Wonderful apetizers. Excellent entrées (excellent fish), and the baklava is better than in Istanbul; No fads, no frills: excellent cooking more

What a hidden gem! It's not one of the flashy restaurants you normally find in Miami, but it's got a great ambiance, and the food was excellent! We started with the panzanella salad which had just the right amount of dressing, not overpowering. For dinner we had the roast chicken with grilled romaine lettuce and potatoes. It was so simple,... more

Food very good, hostess very friendly, bar tender excellent. Server's (Miles was her name) attitude a bit bizarre, clearly never trained in high end dining. Overall experience enjoyable. If eating in the garden, bug spray recommended. Oh and if allergic to cats, be warned the house ‘mascot’, an adorable alley cat, is super friendly. more

One of the best restaurant meals my fiancee and I have ever eaten. The entrees were perfect -- subtle flavors, creatively combined. The chef knows how to get good local organic ingredients. We ate outdoors in the garden patio in the back of the hotel, a quiet hideaway. In Manhattan this food would be $100 a plate. We paid $65... more

We had one night in Miami Beach at the end of our cruise and did we sure pick a winner! We entered via the hotel lobby to a gorgeous outdoor seating area. We went on a Monday night (1/12/09) and the place was about a quarter full. We had the special that night, a bronzed Cobia fish with cous cous,... more

This was an excellent meal in a really nice environment (in their garden) with excellent service. The prices are far more reasonable than those in SoBe at for much better quality food. The portions are a sensible size - as opposed to far-more-than-you-can-eat sizes and the staff made helpful suggestions. The resident cats roam the tables but are not intrusive. more
