Restaurant is pretty cool. You go in, and immediately realize that the food there is presented in a carnival-like manner. The food is very good, and the service is also very good. If you're into the Miami scene, you may know that this restaurant is slight past it's prime 'hot spot' designation. In marketing, we call it the 'cash cow'... More

Been to Barton G a few times. Mostly because it is a fun and lively restaurant. Every time I have been I say the same thing. The presentation is over-the-top but the food is somewhere between okay and good. Additionally, it is expensive.

This is a place for special occasions with groups. The presentation is wonderful and imaginative. The food is mediocre though and the prices are extremely high. We were a party of two and dessert cost $40! It was enough for six or seven people, but was silly for two.

One of those places whose reputation precedes it. Everything is presented in an over the top, hokey manner. Probably not the best spot if you're looking for romance, despite the beautiful ambiance of the outdoor garden seating, unless you can pull off wearing a Roman Centurion helmet like Caesar Augustus. Its more of a jovial fun vibe place to go... More

We came for our 30th wedding anniversary. Pulled up at the entrance to find the doorman charging someone to have their picture taken in the doorway of the Villa! Booked quite a way in advance and arrived early hoping for pre meal drinks by the pool. We were shown into a small dark almost medieval type room for cocktails then... More

Food was ok at best, but definitely not worth the price. I don't mind paying money for good food, but this wasn't worth it by any means. Reading other reviews, it seems this is a standard theme at BGs, presentations are fun but doesn't justify the price...If they want to charge those prices they need to step it all around.... More

We had a reservation for 2 for dinner. When we arrived, we used the valet service, got checked in and were shown to our table. It was moslty empty, and our original table was an ackward corner literally next to another table of 2, so we asked to be put elsewhere. We got a table near the entrance and unfortunately... More

It was Very expensive! We had a 12 & 14 year old girls with us; they will remember this place forever! And, so will the 4 adults! The apps we got were great and fillet mignon, lobster, short ribs and mac & cheese fantastic! The desserts are made for sharing & we got 3! Too much food for the 6... More

The food was at best average. Not bad, not terrible by any means. Just very average. That would be fine but for the outrageous prices. The pictures really tell it all. My wife had swordfish. It was good. But it had a three foot high bass plug sticking out if the plate. My friends steak came with a roman helmet.... More

The show was good. The children enjoyed the presentation of the food. However the prices were atrocious - $100.00 appetizers, $20.00 drinks for children, plus entrees over the $50.00 range. The food wasn't that great to justify such prices.
