Over the top...

The presentation are fun but a bit over the top. The food itself is average and a lot of it. it is a big attraction so expect to wait. Even if you have a reservation do expect to be seated exactly at that time. But the overall experience is about fun. If you are serious about food, this is not... read more

We had a reservation for Valentine's Day. We were seated promptly, the waiter took our order promptly and the food came out expeditiously. I was very pleased with the overall experience. We had the 42oz porterhouse which was perfectly prepared. The drinks we delicious i haven't a single complaint. I was a bit skeptical after reading some reviews but I'm... More

Barton G is "all about the presentation" I agree but I think it is about the food too. I was great! We celebrated Valentines Day with another couple, our reservation assured we were seated promptly. Speciality drinks were freaking cool! All four of us ordered different meals, Cod, Tuna, Shrimp & Lobster and Salmon. The food was amazing and fun.... More

We waited for our table for 50 minutes only for them to give it away. This place is horrible. In the 50 minutes we ordered appetizers where other people at the bar thought it was theirs and we're eating it. The manager was so rude and did not care and basically threw is out. This place sucks and there are... More

I had previously read about Barton G in timeout magazine and was really excited to visit while on my holiday from the UK. The presentation is spectacular and I have never seen anything remotely like it in all my travels. I ordered a steak (which came with a massive knife and fork) and the candy floss dessert (a manicans head... More

Barton G is fun, good food and a beautiful setting (garden). They serve the food in a funny but also kitschy way. But it is so overpriced. Wouldn't go again.

I had been recommended this restaurant by a friend, mainly because of it's weird and wonderfully presented food! Based on her comments and pictures I had seen I imagined the restaurant to be a quirky and fun setting- but this was not the case! Upon arrival I was surprised at how very normal and sophisticated the restaurant appeared (this is... More

If you're looking for something different, fun, classy and one of a kind, then this is the place to go. Took my 10 year old here but this is the type of place you can take a child, a family, a date, anyone. The presentation of the food, plus the quality of the food itself combine to make this one... I won't say too much otherwise it will spoil it. This is a really fun restaurant if you fancy an alternative night out. Not cheap but worth a visit on a special occasion. Ask for a table outside, it's a really buzzy place

Enjoyed dinner at Barton G on New Years Eve. Our overall experience was phenomenal. The service was exceptional and the presentation of the food was amazing. What was most impressive was the the unique presentation did not take away from the taste of the food. The creative presaentation and fresh ingredients added to our wonderful experience. The smoking drinks made... More
