An expensive laugh

Last night we sat outside in the lovely gardens of Barton G. The ambiance is all very relaxed and friendly. You are introduced to two of your waiters who were very helpful in assisting us with our choices. We ended up with sharing a starter and then a main each and at that point we all felt that... read more

This place is an amazing restaurant to go to, the service is great, a little bit on the slow side, but i understand because every time that I've been there its been completely packed. I call it an experience because the presentation of the food and the way the waiters treat you makes it different that any other restaurant. Last... More

This restaurant is all about fun, imaginative plating and food presentation. My daughter and I had a blast, enjoying our meals, as well as watching the 'parade' of other interesting looking dishes go by. My daughter said the lobster 'pop tarts' were particularly delicious. My fish dish was also yummy. The veggies, however, were a little disappointing. Their signature martini,... More

This place is amazing!!! The food presentation is extremely creative and original! So much fun! You will not only enjoy your food, but watching other people's food is a show in itself. You won't be disappointed!

We went on the recommendation of a friend. The "smoking " drinks were interesting and tasty. The food was average to good. I often judge a restaurant by the bread( clearly I am not gluten free) and the two small, slightly stale bread sticks did not set the stage for me. I had the crab stuffed shrimp and the tuna... Dear Barton G, please have your staff check and (replace if necessary)your menus! The first impression I was provided of your restaurant was a menu filled with pages that were soiled, disgusting and food splattered! Each page had some food and/or fingerprint on it. Gross! Service can definitely be improved, otherwise all the fun food presentation falls flat. Details matter,... More

The food was ok but the prices were way too high. The wine prices were well above most "high" end restaurants and were second rate labels. I would say it was as adult theme restaurant with food as an afterthought. Imagine a dessert of cotton candy for $26 or a ice cream dessert for $42. Enough said.

Sort of a Disney food experience. Presentation dominates over food quality. So it's a kitsch experience. Probably better with a small group of friends or business when the presentations spur conversation. Not for a quiet romantic evening -- though the exterior dinning space is very lovely. Drink concotions are remarkable if you like that sort of thing.

Wife & I went for my b-day on a Saturday night. Atmosphere nice, décor cool but nothing too fancy. 2 nitrogen martinis - $60. Had the squid appetizer which was nearly tasteless. My steak, delivered on a wooden cutting board with a tennis racket sized fork and knife prop sticking out of it, was nearly half pure fat. Their very... More

The meals are so well presented!! Portions are almost too big to finish!! The food was very good. The liquid nitrogen drinks were pretty fancy! I recommend the zen-tini as it was one of my favorite drinks!! Service was good. The staff were very friendly & accommodating!
