Had recommendations from a few folks for this restaurant. Not too disappointed, but thinking we should have had dinner there instead, the menu was that tempting. Instead we chose to have appetizers of Classic Cuban Garlic Toast and Traditional Ham Croquets (the best part of the lunch) and sandwiches (Cuban Sandwich and Spanish Sausage Sandwich). Of the two, the Spanish... More

Visited Lario's looking for decent cuban food while staying in SoBe. While there are many restaurants to choose from in this area, this is one of a handful of restaurants who espouse "authentic cuban food." Yes, it's owned by Gloria Estefan and her husband. Yes, its one of a few locations...including one at the Hard Rock Casino. Should have been... More

After reading other reviews I thought there might be a long wait for a table. I was seated quickly and that was the best part of the experience. The busboy brought the table setting (napkins, utensils, etc), then came back and removed it saying "drinks only". It was a mixup on his part, but still! When the food came, the... More

We were guided here by the concierge at our hotel, so I was expecting a standard tourist trap. In some ways it was: crowded on Ocean Ave of South Beach, squeezed in between other restaurants on the same block that could be the same, some surly service, and very pricey. But the quality was far superior. Although my Bloody Mary... More

I'll make this short and sweet.... I go to Miami a lot and this is the the best place to eat some authentic Cuban food, this place is a nice place to eat at night with your lady or the day time with some friends. I once ordered the most expensive seafood plate on the menu that included a dish... More

We went to Larios for lunch yesterday. The service, well, there really isn't any. They just take your order and bring you the bill in the end.. The food was good, not amazing. Just average. I would not recommend unless you are in the area and you want a quick , casual meal.

Very mediocre food. The name (Estefans' Bongos) that stands behind it is what led me there and I feel it was a trap. they have prime location and it is a shame that they don't offer better quality.
