Another great meal

My mom and I just returned from a weekend get away in South Beach. We went to this restaurant last year and loved it. We loved it again this year. Food is delicious and you're not rushed. The portions are average size. I highly suggest trying this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Great service, good food, but a bit expensive, well as every restaurant at this location is. Would eat there again.

Excellent food. Excellent service. And lots of indoor tables with AIR CONDITIONING in August, which is a rarity on Ocean Blvd. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Dear Guest, A million thanks for that enthusiastic review! Yes, air conditioning is essential here in the summer. Our food and service are just as great in cooler weather, so I hope you will have a chance to dine with us then too. Kal Abdalla, Executive Chef More

In times where SoBe embraces mass tourism, it is great to see that tradition of quality and customer-minded service survive. A Fish Called Avalon is one of these retreats and I would just encourage everyone who is not here to just enjoy cheap drinks (which at the end don't really turn out to be cheap!) to go and book a... This was our first meal on our first night in Miami and was a recommendation from our hotel. It's right on Ocean Drive so you are in the heart of everything fun and funky going on. Inside the atmosphere is lovely and charming however the lighting was so dim a lot of people (including us) were struggling to read the... More

We picked this place out of the blue based on a google search. I've never been to south beach and was worried this would be a tourist destination disappointment. OMG, best meal experience I have had in years! Service was top notch. Our waiter Sheldon was in the background and popped up like magic if needed otherwise. Excellent martini, complementary... More

My friend and I split the seafood paella and it was probably the best I've ever had. What made the dinner even better was our server, Rolando. He recommended the perfect wine, a great appetizer (definitely get the octopus), and a really nice dessert. He was a very attentive server and if not for the price (it was $400 for... More

We were looking for really good fresh seafood and steak and the South Beach sidewalk experience and fine dining service and live music not too loud and not being rushed and...the list goes on! If we're ever back here this will be my first dinner destination. Pricey but well worth it. My only regret was not being able to eat... More

My girl friend and I recently are here while visiting south beach. The tuna appetizer and escargot were excellent. We split the paella which was full of delicious seafood. Wash it down with a mojito while enjoying the people watching on Ocean Drive.
