Don't have much to say, but the food was amazing, unique and delicious. The staff was nice and attentive to us. It's right on Ocean drive so great location, close to the beach. Definitely going back if I want seafood.

Prices are typical of ocean drive. Paying for the view not the food. They have the right idea of "fine dining" but don't quite make it in the quality and freshness.

There were 4 in our party, we were seated on the patio as I requested when I made our reservation. A good place to observe the Ocean Drive night life. The service was excellent. The Mojito's were superb. I enjoyed the lobster - both of them. My wife enjoyed the salmon. Overall a good dining experience.

My husband and I just left the restaurant. I had a fresh and delicious spaghetti alfredo and my husband had a precious and also fresh crusted snapper. The service is perfect. I strongly recommend. We spent more $$ but it worth each cent.

A friend recommended this place and the reception in our hotel also said it was excellent for seafood. We booked but when we arrived, they'd allocated us a table inside - which seemed a bit dire - so we waited for half hour to get an outside spot. The food was really good - my friend and I like lobster... More

If you like patio dining on warm evenings, people watching and quality food, then Fish Called Avalon is perfect. Ocean Drive is a long line of bars and restaurants, so picking a place that's above average can be tough. This one is definitely a keeper. Dine on the patio and if, like us, you get caught in a downpour part... More

Our server Ales was right on top of thing s .I had a Sweet Bliss martini that was made just right. For apps we had fresh mussels and calamari. My sons... More

This is the second trip back to Fish Called Avalon. First trip was good, this one even better. The porch makes for great alfresco dining - as others have noted the people watching is great! The food (macadamia nut encrusted snapper and the salt crusted grouper) was great, but holy smokes, the grilled octopus and the lobster salad are the... More

After reading reviews about this restaurant, I had made reservation in advance prior to coming to Miami. It certainly did not disappoint and was 1000x better than "The Place" ( a few restaurants down). Hubby and I ordered the octopus which had the perfect tenderness and flavor. The oysters were fresh and the crab cakes had alot of real crab... More
