Very Disappointed with this restaurant although I was told it's one of Miami's best restaurants. Sea food never tasted that bad and wasn't even cooked well, made me sick after dinner. Service was poor not even asked what to drink ! I asked for a coke which tasted like rusting iron ! They replaced by regular coke which tasted the... More

- we had dinner at Avalon while on our vacation in miami - the stuff is very friendly - the food was just ok, we were expecting a better quality of fish - the price was expensive for what we ordered - the location is very central but very touristic. If you want to spend that money you better go... More

Again recommend by our our hotel we had an early booking at 6pm, which is actually he time the place opens. We sat on the terrace which was great for the atmosphere but by the time we left we were boiling and our shirts were wet! We started with the shrimps which came with a lovely tomato salsa, calamari which... More

Dear Guest, Many thanks for your enthusiastic comments about the seafood you enjoyed, and the professional service. Unfortunately August weather in Miami Beach is quite a bit warmer than August in the UK. When you return, as I hope you will, consider a table indoors where the air conditioning will keep you cool and comfortable. More

Very kind service, moderate air and view. Place is cozy and cool. Foods are pretty good but price is bit high considering the quality(dont mean it's bad or low quality). If you look for place with moderate cost and air this is it.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. It was my husband and I's first time visiting Miami and this restaurant exceeded our expectations. I was looking for some great fish (salmon in particular) and that is exactly what I got. We were seated outside on the patio, which was perfect. It was fun watching people walk by. I... More

Excellent location to sit outside and enjoy a very good meal. Make no mistake you are definitely paying for the 'front row' seating. Bang Bang shrimp were excellent($6/.shrimp!) There was live entertainment that certainly added to the ambiance. We enjoyed an excellent bottle of Malbec. Certainly a bit of a splurge. Also, I loved the complementary hummus and warm bread!!... Dear Guest, Readers will appreciate your point about choosing an inside or outside table depending on the weather. Summer in South Beach is definitely tropical. Many thanks for your thoughtful comments, and for mentioning our hummus. Butter on bread is tasty but hummus contains protein as well as lots of flavor. Glad the Malbec was a hit, too. Hope to... Myself, my husband, and our two young adult daughters enjoyed our dinner of delicious seafood. We sat out on the patio, which they had a live band playing softly in the background, and were able to people watch as the South Beach crowd past by. Dear Guest, Your kind review made our whole team very proud and happy.
