May be one of the fanciest restaurant on ocean drive. The service is good, the seafood is excellent!

At the end of a noisy, part of the strip lies Avalon. Very good service, and the food preparation was spot on. The scallops were great!

My husband and I arrived at A Fish Called Avalon early and decided to have a cocktail at the bar first. We each chose one of their signature drinks. I chose a Strawberry Gimlet (ketel one vodka, strawberries, fresh lime) and my husband decided to try the Sweet Bliss (grey goose vodka, lychee, fresh lime, cranberry juice.) We shared the... More

It is out first visit to Miami and was recommended to eat ay Quinn's. This restaurant wAs closed which was to our good fortune as we found Avalon! The food was excellent as was the service the only minor negative was that it was very dark inside and you needed a light or torch to read the menu! All in... More

Excellent food whilst watching the craziness of ocean drive from the relative calm of this restaurant. I choose from the miami spice menu which was excellent value for 3 good sized courses. Would definitely recommend the bang bang shrimp. My husband had the tuna tartare to start which looked amazing and tasted great, followed by the swordfish special which was... More

My boyfriend and I went in last night for the Miami Spice menu and had a wonderful time! The food was surprisingly good and affordably priced compared to many other Ocean Drive restaurants. We were not disappointed! The service was great and the manager/owner was doing table visits like a professional. The icing on the cake was the enjoyable scenery... More

We called and made reservations, but it took us longer to get there than we thought. Upon arrival the hostess was the person who originally took our reservation, had figured out that was probably the case, and had a table waiting for us. We opted for indoor dining as the temp was in the high 90's but we found that... More

I had the ribeye and my husband had the 2 main lobsters. Both were delicious. There was nothing else included with this, so we ordered asparagus and I had mushrooms with my steak. While everything was absolutely delicious, for the price it should have come with a small salad or some sort of side. The waiter was a bit snobby... More

Our concierge recommended this place to us. It had great seafood and atmosphere. Its located on Ocean drive so there is good people watching. It has a up scale feel. The price is on the high end but the food does own up to the price. I would recommend the crab cake. The mojito I had was NOT good.
