The "take out" side of this restaurant offers "eat in" as well as "take out" service. The grouper sandwiches were terrific and so fresh. This was one of the few places in Miami Beach that offered grouper sandwiches. And be sure to try their key lime pie which we thought was the best ever.

This was our second visit to Miami in one year. we had visited Joe's Stone Crab for lunch in February and loved it. We were really looking forward to a repeat visit. In February our waiter was this great big guy who talked to us a little bit about the restaurant and its history. This time we came for dinner... More

I have been to some fine restaurants in my time….but Joe's ranks way up there. My wife and I arrived at 5:00, knowing they do not take reservations. We sat in the bar for an hour and enjoyed cocktails, passing up appetizers. Shortly after 6;00, our name was called, and we were shuttled to our table quicker than a dog... More

Not sure what all of the hype is about. I'm sure that once upon a time, it was great. But the our server was incredibly stuffy and not at all friendly, we felt as if we were inconveniencing him somehow with our presence. Even the valet staff was rude when we pulled up. And the food, was not at all... More

There Is really nothing to dislike about Joes. If you've never had stone crabs you will become addicted. They are served with an incredible homemade mustard that truly accentuates the crab. I ordered the Jumbo which seemed more like a medium to large. They were still delightful. Okay lastly DO NOT leave without having their key lime pie, it the... More

We had the most wonderful dinner at Joe's Stone Crab... We were told that, because they don't take reservations, that it was hard to get in on a Saturday night. Good we knew that! We went at 5:30pm rather than our usual 8:00pm and that made all the difference! We got right in. The restaurant was already very full but... More

Joe's was fun and the stone crabs were excellent along with high pricing. Place gets crowded and the ambiance in side with seating is not prime nor reflective of their pricing. We were seated right away, however other waiters had to go by our table to get to another table area which meant they were constantly tapping me on their... More

We knew going in that there would be a wait—fine. What I didn't realize was that I would watch a line of well-tanned elderly men blatantly slip the host money in order to be seated before us. I am fine tipping for service, but I'm not about to bribe some mope to seat me. Perhaps that's my issue. Once we... More
