YUCA, an acronym for Young Urban Cuban-Americans, is widely known as being South Florida's original upscale Cuban restaurant featuring Innovative Nuevo Latino Cuisine or as the locals call it "Nuevo Latino." This style of cooking includes traditional Latin ingredients such as a plethora of textures, colors, and flavors that when combined creates a cuisine that is unique to anything offered outside of the Caribbean and Latin America.

We had drinks and a bit to eat here. Nice atmosphere, sitting along Lincoln rd. Food was very good but very pricy for a small portion size. Also drinks are very good but really expensive for what it is. 18% service charge is included automatically. Service was a bit slow.

Yuca is situated on Lincoln Road, so one can expext every evening to be busy. This is a bit disturbing if you want to eat outside, but can be interesting to see (in our opinion very diverse) people walking by. We sat outside, because America is such a fan of way to cold air conditioning. The food is good, but... More

Young Urban Cuban American. We luckily stopped here during our shopping and enjoyed a couple drinks on the patio and enjoyed very fresh, well prepared cuban fare that was actually better than Versailles. Cuban men in fedora as uniform, very attentive and a nice place overall. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We went to YUCA for a lunch. They have an happy hour for drinks from 12-4:30pm. We have ordered burgers beef and vegetarian. Both served with fries or fried sweet root vegetable. Very delicious and big portions. Nice place to sit outside.

We enjoyed the small tapas plates and after ordering and tasting 3 plates we ordered two more and enjoyed them all. Find it very hard to find a place where you don't get huge portions as we are small eaters and most of the time we only order starters. Staff was friendly. Would go again as it does not look... Went to YUCA for a late dinner (around 10pm) one night while on vacation in Miami. I had the salmon dish and it was very good. Service was good and it was nice sitting outside and people-watching.

We had passed this smart-looking Cuban-type restaurant (Young Urban Cuban Americans) numerous times but hadn't gotten around to eating there until this week. We had always been intrigued by the eclectic menu. And with a table outside, the location is primo for people-watching on crazy Lincoln Road, where you're likely to see just about anything. We were disappointed tho. First,... More

There is a reason Yuca has been around as long as it has. The food, drinks, and service are all top notch. Do not leave here without having a world famous Mojito. They were among the best I have ever had. We sampled a few things from the Tapas Calle Ocho section of the menu. The bacon wrapped dates and... More
