Pleasant Surprise

Yuca is on Lincoln Road, where the tourism is on full force. This kind of atmosphere almost always reduces the quality of the food, but Yuca stays true to it's Cuban roots. My husband and I were there for dinner on one of the busiest weekends and we were seated right away. My husband ordered the... read more

My husband and I were with a tour group that stayed in Miami Beach for 5 days. One of the dinner places we were taken was YUCA. This eatery is on the Lincoln Road Mall. Everyone in our group raved about the Mojitos. My husband and I tried them and we didn’t like them but if you like Mojitos, supposedly... More

We were hoping for a little more authentic Cuban but Yuca was still very good. I would highly recommend the pork shank...delicious!

White table cloth restaurant on Lincoln Road, great place to enjoy a different menu and watch the resident locals and visitors stream past in an unending flow of humanity. Lots of unusual menu items, good food, great service, great location. Its easy to relax here and spend a lot of time, especially if you dine on the outdoor terrace which... More

We have known this restaurant since it opened a few decades ago. It is one of my all time favorites. I go back every time I come to Miami Beach. And it was great again! I had the fried yuca with a fabulous garlic sauce. Then, a whole fried snapper with coconut rice and mango pico de gallo. For dessert,... More

This restaurant was recommended by a local and we loved it. We were able to taste unusual food and good cocktail. The service was ok. Some traditional cuban music would have been great :).

We were extremely happy with our food choices - my friend was raving about her Cuban Calamari and my Salmon Balserito entree was one of the top 5 salmon entree's I have ever had, loved the organic vegetable quinoa. Very reasonably priced, especially when compared to tourist trap restaurants where all the food looks and tastes the same. I liked... More

Came here with high expectations -- largely unmet. The lunch menu is interesting and promising. I had the Cuban black bean soup, which was good but I have had as good from a can. I had the ahi tuna wrap which was very lightly seared and not as flavorful as I would have liked. For dessert a Tres Leche cake... More

Yuca easily handled our group of nearly thirty diners! All courses were tasty, inventive and nicely presented. The mojitos were fresh and delicious with just the right amount of rum. The service balanced fun with professional. I absolutely recommend this restaurant!

We stumbled on this tapas restaurant and it quickly became our favorite. Perfectly cooked tapas and wonderful flavors. My daughter insisted we eat there one day for lunch and dinner! Their cocktails are inventive with fresh ingredients. We loved this place and it's not in the middle of the SB madness!
