Good food in a great atmosphere

Café Nuvo is located in Espanola way. So you can seat and watch people walking around. There is good music and the service and food are good. A bit pricey tough. I was there for dinner and we had pasta and seafood. All were very good.

I actually live down the street from this restaurant and see it daily when I leave home. It's pretty low key--nestled and tucked away, not overly loud music like the rest of the restaurants around here. I actually would come here after work for their 4.99 happy hour mojito, which I loved but one day, I peeped their lunch menu... More

An absolutely amazing experience! All the food was delicious! We had the wine and cheese platter- which was awesome- the blue cheeses and capers worked so well together! Goat cheese salad was great! Lobster bisque was to die for! And the grand finale was the filet mignon that was perfectly seasoned!!

This was one of our favorite restaurants in South Beach. The food was excellent. And our waiter, Alex, was awesome; very attentive & had great suggestions.

I preface this review by saying this is the worst review I've ever had to write. I usually rave about the staff ,if warranted, but I'm still so irritated about this experience, that I had to submit a review. My friends and I decided to walk through Espanola Way to check out the Saturday night crowd (8/22) and grab a... More

Espanola Way is just beautiful. Stopped here for a drink. I personally do not like mojitos so I went with the sangria. It was tasty. My 2 friends got mojitos & they loved them.

Terrific food, great service, nice ambiance and a truly enjoyable experience. Our waiter, Andre, was attentive and extremely helpful in guiding us on what to order. We decided on the baby spinach and goat cheese salad, and the Chilean sea bass with lobster mashed potatoes and lobster risotto for our entrees (both are among the chef's recommendations) and everything was... Hands down Nuvo has one of the best chefs in the area. We have been here at least 10 times and tried various items on their menu :) The food is refined, not too much in quantity but enough to keep you full. What we loved most from Nuvo: 1. the lobster ravioli- divine 2. the steak- divine+can feed 2... More

Espanola way is a very nice neighbourhood, spanish touch. This restaurant was this night terrible: The ordered tuna was not even 80grs (3 ounce) usd 28!! I must say that the weight was not mentioned on the menu. The tuna was fried in a batter. Very bad taste. The spinach covered the mashed potatoes so it looked nice but there... More
