Food is First Rate - Kinda Crowded

While looking for seafood that was not fried or processed I stumbled on to Cafe Nuvo. At first I was put off because it has the typical pretty girl out front trying to get tourists into the establishment. She was good at her job because the place was packed (Dinner). But, the menu looked good... read more

Service mediocre- there but uninterested. Price - a little high for what you get. We had a Caesar salad - very authentic. Tuna was poor grade for the price- they also tried to rush us too much. Would not return.

Nuvo was located on historic Española Way (a little touristy, but still a beautiful pedestrian street) and served Mediterranean pasta & seafood dishes. The restaurant offered both indoor and outdoor dining. We chose to eat outside (despite a chilly breeze) as Nuvo had heat lamps and lots of people-watching. As we weren’t very hungry, we only ordered drinks and appetizers.... More

Food was nothing special here. If you eat here be careful with them. This restaurant is tricky with the bill. They want you to pay the tip twice...

We had a great dinner experience. The special they had that day which was a large variety of seafood over risotto and topped with a lobster tail was just fantastic. The Mediterranean Seafood Linguini was also great. The staff was very nice and the overall atmosphere is enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

Had an amazing dinner! Lobster risotto, corvino, salad, seafood pasta all perfect. And their mojitos - probably one of the best I ever had. Service was superb, loved the outdoor dining and people watching while dining. would highly recommend!!!

Food was excellent and my server was excellent. What was not excellent was the food server\busser taking my Bread Plate when I was still using it, if she had looked, I was holding the bread loaf tearing off a piece of bread. Also, I do not like restaurants that automatically put in a gratuity when it is a party of... More

Pretty good. Had the Red Snapper. Wife had a pasta with tomato sauce. We were both happy with our meal. The dessert was pretty tasty too, especially the creme brule. This place is pricey, however. But I guess that can be expected in the area. I also didn't like that they automatically add 18% to the bill. Overall pleasant experience... More

We were very skeptical at first and when the food came I was amazed. The ceviche was amazing and the rice with the meal was phenomenal . The bill came and we were pleasantly surprised. I will go again and again
