An oasis from the madness

Delightful, intimate restaurant away from the $45 buckets of God knows what. Staff were attentive but discrete, food excellent (I recommend the pappardelle ragu). Wine at a reasonable price, all in all a very enjoyable experience. Thanks.

I have been a loyal customer for years to this place. I invited 4 friends for dinner yesterday. We had a very poor service, waited way over 1 hour for main course, without any explanation, excuse..etc. My dish, even though restaurant was not full, had been made hastily (pasta with gamberi), pasta was overcooked. Maybe they do not care about... More

We were dinning at this restaurant. My boyfriend ate "Fetuccini with smoked salmon",which was tasty. However, I ate the Risotto (with shrimps, caviar, lemon, champagne), which it was supposed to be a special dish, and I found the rice undercooked. In addition, lemon didn't combined good with the dish (the citric flavor was a bit excessive). The food quantity was... More

My second time there, amazing food and service. A very classy place. The scenery is great and you can see people dress us for this place.

We were staying at the Impala (attached to the restaurant) and just popped into the restaurant for an easy casual meal. We were wrapped we did and had a wonderful light meal. We went with the anti pasta plate for 2 when we spotted on the next table. It was awesome - so much so we took other friends back... More

Service, ambience, food, wine list, it was all wonderful. I started with the pear salad, H had the Antipasto Misto plate. My entree was the penna, roasted eggplant with marinara sauce. H had the Frutti di mare. Delicious, both entrees. Dessert was banana strudel for H, which he loved. I had the key lime pie. It was good, but it... More

Most restaurants that you eat at in the South Beach area are ordinary and overpriced. Spigo is an exception and exceptional Italian Restaurant. All of the pasta is freshly made in house. The combinations are a plenty and they are all great. Started with the Zuppa de Cozze e Vongole (Mussels and Clams in white wine with garlic and tomato.... More

Food was fresh; service excellent; dessert not to be missed. Thoroughly enjoyable meal. Can't wait to go back again next time in Miami.

The surroundings and environment promised for a great night out with great Italian dining. But...the appetizers were poorly executed and very bland even though they tried to sprinkle olive oil with a truffle scent. The foccacia bread was very thin and without any real taste. When the gamberi and asparagus pasta arrived I thought it was a joke. In a... More
