I have been coming to S & W for more then 30 years. Today I came for lunch on Saturday January 24, 2015. Ordred the Steak Tartare which was not prepared at the table & had a strange mayonnaise sauce mixed in. The Filet Oscar was served with crab on the side of the plate & asparagus that was chopped... This restaurant is big with hundreds of covers, Smith & Wollensky specialise in steaks - the best I have ever had, and together with the House salad and Creamed spinach with Fries this is a meal for the very hungry, it is not cheap - expect to pay about $100 a head for a great experience

A friend and I had dinner with outdoor seating. The food is amazing, the cocktails were spectacular, and to top it off, the cruise ships sailed by as they were headed out to sea. Smith and Wollensky is an upscale restaurant in a great location.

Not a good experience for the money it costs. We were a party of 5, everyone chose appetizers from the menu, after 20 minutes the waiter told us they didn't have what we ordered, we chose again and guess what? again they didn't have it!!! Two of us requested a filet mignon "medium well" and both were charred outside and... More

and our guest wanted steak. This place has a fabulous view and good outside dining if the weather is good (which it was). We each had different things, I had stone crab; my husband steak and our guest had a lobster sandwich. The sides are huge! The service is excellent. The prices are not low, but the restaurant is worth... More

Great food and location facing the Government Cut in Miami Beach. Great quality steaks and more in an unbelievable setting. Excellent service by well trained staff. Remains our favourite local restaurant.

Loud, obnoxious, over priced, steak overdone, outside bar service horrible. Only positive - the view & the seafood appetizer. Never again!

Everybody spoke so much about Smith and Wollenski I thought I was going to enjoy a delicious steak during our dinner. We were a group of nine and order some starters that were ok. When meat came, although four of us ordered the same meat, they all were very different in quality. My husbands meat was hard and tasteless. The chocolate... More

This is a high end establishment that until now has always been exceptional. Yesterday however, with out of town guests, we were very unhappy at Smith and Wollensky in South Beach. From the start, we waited for water, wine, appetizers and our main course. Finally, a few of the orders arrived cold and undercooked. My husband's Sea Bass had no... More

My daughter, grandchildren and I spent a splendid afternoon/evening at South Point Park. The highlight of our trip was to have dinner at the outdoor seating area at Smith and Wollensky. We arrived and place was packed. To our surprise, this wonderful young man named Chris noticed we had a baby and a small hungry child and found us a... More
