Delightfully Saucy

Although it took a long time to get our meals, the food was good and the staff, very friendly. We were initially seated in an area with patrons who were intoxicated and incredibly obnoxious. I asked the server to move our group. We were then seated in a small dining area with only our party. The... read more

Every time I come to Miami, I visit Tap Tap. I recommend the goat stew, creole shrimp with spinach in coconut sauce on the side. The restaurant looks run down but the food is delicious. It gets busy on Friday and Saturday night around 7.

I saw this place on Food Network's very own, Rachel Ray. She touted this place, so I had to check it out when I was in town. Wow! This brightly decorated Caribbean Classic lived up to the hype. Great and friendly staff. The food was amazingly fresh. I tried a few things. The snapper, fried pork chunks and goat. All... More

ug 06, 2014 The environment at Tap Tap is very lively, and all the walls are decorated with Haitian art by Haitian artists. The ambiance gives one the feel of being in Haiti. If you are in Miami, Tap Tap should definitely be on your top list. I can't wait to go back!

Our very good friends introduced us to Tap Tap. What an extraordinary meal! The staff and the food could not possibly have been better! The yellow fin Snapper, the goat, and the chicken were absolutely the best food you could possibly hope for!

Friendly service in a no pretence restaurant where emphasis was on providing a Haitian experience. The pumpkin soup and fish dishes are excellent. There was an engaging band playing in the back that complemented the wall paintings to provide an ambience very different to South beach just a few blocks away.

Courteous Service Rustic ambience Delicious and spicy plates. I would recommend to take some fish and fried tapas with the river cress salsa!

Colourful Haitian paintings on walls, tables, chairs. I enjoyed the "ambiance". Service was adequate and, fast for a busy evening. It was a very hot day! We started dinner with fresh mango and corrosol (sour sop) juices. Both sweet and refreshing We had a combination of fried plantains (banan pésé ), tasso (grilled goat meat), fried sweet potatoes served with... More

Tap Tap menu was excellent . The goat was the best we have eaten. WE tried the conch and mulango along with a haitian and african beer ... The food was the best caribbean we have had. The restaurant has beautifully hand-painted murals and a very warm and friendly staff. I would eat here again.

Great food in a fun setting. The goat curry was delicious. But be warned - it has a real kick to it!
