We had shrimp in creole sauce, stewed beef, and pineapple cake for dessert, all was really to die for. And the service was excellent, super sweet and smily. An excellent experience, we highly recommend this place.

Stopped in here based on a recommendation by a couple of cabbies. What a great recommendation! We had the conch salad and the grilled fish, split between two of us. I think I'm not a huge fan of conch, but I did like the simplicity of it. I always see conch in fritters, which don't do anything for me. This... More

A group of us went to try this place out and were delightfully surprised by the dining experience we had. The restaurant is bigger than it looks and is fitted out with incredibly decorative Haitian murals. The artwork on the chairs and tables is just wonderful - really authentic. We kicked off with some appetizers that included Malanga fritters with... More

You have to try the stewed goat. This is my first Haitian restaurant that I have ever tried, but the goat stew is so good! Another option we tried was the is grouper in lime sauce - it was so flavorful! The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Our bartender (Monica) was so cool, talkative, and explained everything to us.... More

Went to Tap Tap for a birthday celebration July 11, 2014. I have no complaints, starting with the mojitos! We did ask for more rum to add to our drinks, it just made them better. We started with the Malanga fritters and watercress sauce, it was very tasty. I ordered the goat with rice, it was fresh and very delicious,... More

Cool interior with colourful furniture and murals. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Many menu items were not available. Complimentary garlic bread was delicious. Everything that followed was distinctly underwhelming, both in taste and presentation. Items we were warned would be spicy, were bland and the meal sizes were quite small, although I have to commend this joint for not padding out... More

Quite possibly the most overrated restaurant in miami. The food was bland and the drinks were just ok. Nothing that we had (stews, rice, conch) would tempt me to ever go back. Some if it was actually bad. We left half our food and decided to grab appetizers at another place. We did not want to eat any more of... More

This place is much bigger than it appears. At first glance from outside, I thought it was just an art gallery then maybe a small restaurant but it's an exceptional art gallery with all the rooms decorated differently from ceiling to floor; and spacious seating in the various rooms. Only made a pit-stop. Had Akra: Malanga fritters with watercress dipping... More

I came here because it was highly recommended in the Lonely Planet book. The staff are nice, the restaurant is nice, but the goat stew I had was gross. It was mostly fat, rather than meat (which may be goat, I hadn't had it before)
