We have dined in Nobu many times both in Lonbon, New York and Miami. The London properties are now Michelin starred and deservedly so which is not an accolade deserving of the Miami Nobu. Beautifully located within The Shore Club on South Beach, it has a lovely ambience and the staff are all absolutely charming. However, the food was a... More

Nobu without the big flash, same quality minus the razzmatazz which gives it a more comfortable feel than other cities.

The food is as good as ever, which is the most important thing, but the decor hasn't changed in 10 years and it's getting old. Also, staff has a little bit of an attitude and service can be slow. Ordered a bottle of Sake and they served it in wine glasses - not sake cups. Worse yet, the glassess smelled... More

Strung out on Japanese cuisine and sushi, we ventured into Nobu in Miami last week during our annual visit to South Beach. We had reorganized our plans because we caught a severe craving for sushi and sashimi, usually no one does this better than Nobu. In South Beach the restaurant is located in the Shore Club Hotel on Collins Avenue,... More

I travel extensively and eat sushi all the time. I have heard about Nobu for years but had not tried it until now. We entered and were seated and my wife and I liked the trendy Miami feel of the place. Electric atmosphere and pretty people. We ordered simple nigiri sushi. SHOCK I was shocked when the waiter brought out... More

Excellent restaurant! We sat at the bar where the Master chef delighted us with exquisite sashimi, sushi and picked for us a delicious dessert. The black cod filet melts in your mouth and the Miso Cappuccino is to die for. The ambiance is modern, people can be loud but doesn't get annoying. Service is excellent. Somehow pricey but it was... OMG, I've travelled a lot and been to many pricey restaurants over my 56 years, but have NEVER walked out on one like I did at Nobu this weekend. The atmosphere was a bit bright, crowded in and noisy. I was taken aback by the price of one blackened fish filet, but ordered it thinking it would be sufficient size... More

Nobu is the only sushi restaurant where I have found conch. There are also wonderful and interesting special dishes not found elsewhere. The service in Miami is somewhat indifferent and they almost always try first to give the single woman a poor table even if there is a reservation. The fish, vegetables, fruit are top quality and impeccably fresh. The... More

I have visited Nobu in New York City (~25x) and the Bahamas (2x) with great pleasure. The Nobu in South Beach, however, is terrible and needs to re-train its staff to be more polite to its main customer base - tourists. Not only did the hostesses we encountered look disheveled and sloppy, but also they acted like they were doing... More

Having had the very good fortune of dining at Nobu New York and Nobu Atlantis Bahamas in the past and having very good experiences it was an easy choice to try the Miami location. We were not disappointed. Putting ourselves in the very capable hands of our server Maria, we asked her to chooses a selection of sharing plates for... More
