Food is good, atmosphere is not

I have never eaten at Nobu and was expected it to be a little more open and airy. The food was really good, but the atmosphere, was tight, loud and was surprisingly not in keeping with the pricepoint.

The usual Nobu, if you know what I am talking about. Cool, noisy place, very crowded on weekend nights. A place to see and to be seen, pricey (of course) but the food is very good. If you want high quality sushi in Miami it's the only option, I guess.

The infamous Nobu reputation fell short in Miami. Everything was "eh" - food, service, ambiance - and the prices were high. Very mediocre dining experience for an expensive price. Pass.

We went to Nobu for dinner. As it is always difficult to know what to order on your first experience we went with the tasting menu. Their best dishes. Can't go wrong. The first course was sashimi. It was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh and there was a delicious acidity from citrus which made the fish taste so light. The sushi... More

My wife and I had a lovely meal here during a weekend getaway trip in Miami. Nobu has always been one of my favorite restaurants overall and definitely my favorite sushi restaurant. We enjoyed their avocado salad, yellowtail jalapeno sashimi, rock shrimp tempura with creamy spicy sauce, and broiled Alaskan black cod served with miso. THIS IS AWESOME! The service... More

The firecracker shrimp are not to be missed. Service was good, they were very accommodating of our large group.

If you already went to Nobu in NY or London, I think you be disappointed. The food is just a touch below those places, but the ambient is way worse. The tables look like they belong to a food court of an average mall, rather than an upscale restaurant. The food is still very good with great sushis, sashimis and... More
