the Peruvian food was phenomenal and I encourage you all to try the ceviche and tacu tacu with filete very very good. their hot sauces and bread is outstanding. The waiter with the blond hair is very nice and friendly and suggestive as to what you should try. I have NO complaints about the food, drinks or service. I have... More

My ceviche was inedible. Big chunks of fish (very large) were just raw and the texture was such that I didn't trust that it was fresh. The garlic fish topped with shrimp was also not good. In fact, so undercooked that the breading that was supposed to be friend, was still soaking in flour. The shrimp was good. I should... More

After reading the many reviews online we decided to book a table at this restaurant. We were seated and given menus. After about 10 minutes two other customers had been seated next to us. They were immediately served water. We had not been spoken to nor had been offered drinks at this point. The guests next to us then received... More

Service- Terrible, took forever to get a drink. Took forever to get a meal, took forever to get a second drink, took forever to get our checks. Food - there was a group of 11 of us - and the vast majority thought the food was terrible. One guy sent his back, my fish was supposed to come in a... More

Very popular spot with locals and visitors alike- a wonderful Peruvian restaurant. Atmosphere is more like a diner, the food is no nonsense but very tasty with large portions. Prices are very friendly as are the servers. They do take reservations so call ahead to avoid a long wait. But even if you wait, it's well worth it!

Fantastic! Reasonable!! The hostess and waitresses were very friendly and the food was served in a timely manner though it was so packed. The food was delicious and the portion was big. We loved the green jalapeno sauce served with the bread (complimentary), too. It is highly recommend although we rather conceal this good restaurant from the public!

We dined in Chalan twice, and both the food was amazing! I recommend you try their traditional Peruvian dishes. After all, why bother coming to a Peruvian restaurant to eat the stuff you can get anywhere else ;)

We dined here on night strictly based on reviews, and we were not disappointed. Our server, a very nice young lady, was very helpful. My steak was very good and my girlfriend loved her seafood dish. It got very crowded shortly after we arrived, and a lot of other places were half empty. Like others wrote, a very big dish... More

We ate here one evening while attending a conference at the Miami Beach convention center down the street. Wonderful food! HUGE portions (we actually shared!) great service and reasonably priced. Go! you won't be disappointed.

All I can say, is come, wait if you must and eat, eat and eat. Great food, fresh and fabulous. We plan on going back when in South Beach. The lunch specials are fabulous bargain, but even at full price as dinner is, the food so worth it.
