the food here was really tasty, nice flavours, not too spicy, cooked fresh to order. I had a sangria, that I am not sure had a lot of wine in it. This was probably our most reasonably priced meal of our week in south beach. We would have gone back again if we had more time. We were seated in... More

My husband and I visited Chalan on the Beach on our last night in Miami. I was really looking forward to trying something new and enjoying the tres leches cake for dessert. The night started off well and we really enjoyed our garlic shrimp entrees. However, after finishing up dinner, we were quickly forgotten. We weren't even sure who our... More

I have been wanting to try Peruvian food for a while and just happened upon this place quite close to home. I had the Lomo Saltado and it was great. Steak was tender and it was a good amount of food. Friend had Pescado A Lo Macho and was a ton of food too. I typically am not a "fish"... More

I live this little restaurant on SOBE! The ceviche is great of course! I like the lomo saltado also. It's getting not popular so be prepared to wait for a table. It's worth the wait!

I'm glad we ordered separately because we got to experience more of the menu, but we could have shared as the portions are huge. We were in the mood for ceviche and Chalan did not disappoint. The sauce on my hot meal was delicious. I'm going to look into Peruvian cooking thanks to these guys.

This was an absolutely delicious dining treasure! We were not sure what to expect but it seems it didn't matter since the food and service was as if your Peruvian family had personally cooked and served it themselves. A+ food and the servings were large enough to share. Great mom and pop style restaurant!!

Came across with this restaurant/cafe by chance. Great place for a quick lunch. Extremely tasty meat and sangria. Prices are more than affordable! Be sure to visit!

We asked our concierge for some good tasting Ceviche in South Beach and he directed us to Chalan. First thing to note is that this is not on the beach, in fact it is a few blocks away but it shouldn't matter, the food is good! They have multiple choices for Ceviche, all sound amazing, however we went with the... More

We are here for the weekend from NYC. I have used tripadvisor for the past three years to plan every trip I take. I never wrote a review but I joined today just so I can share my review. Chalan is just incredible. This is the type of food you would expect to find in a heavily Latin influenced area... More

Chalan is not actually on the beach and has no view, but who cares!? It doesn't have fancy decor and it gets noisy and crowded, but who cares!? It has incredibly fresh and tasty Peruvian seafood; ceviche and all sorts of other stews, fries, mixed dishes, rice, addictive roasted corn and desserts that will send you into a diabetic coma...
