One of the best dinner experience in my life. Atmosphere is amazing. So fast and friendly service. We tried pollo andino (grilled chicken breast with special bolivian sauce) and churrasco (a skirt beef at its best) For drink, they have excellent wines but we took beer (aguila from bolivia and chusque from peru) all were excellent. Aguila is light and... More

After reading the excellent reviews, we booked a table. We were greeted with a complimentary starter and we ordered one of their platters and soup. The soup was good but the pl;atter left a lot to be desired for. As an example the wings were too greasy and so was the seafood. It was a mix hence the average rating.... More

We were looking for somewhere 'different' to eat during our stay and after a short while on trip advisor we decided to give Bolivar a visit. On arrival we were seated quickly and given some complimentary nibbles while we browsed the menu, we decided to go for the platter of tapas and it was great. Some beautiful dishes to get... More

I can't say anything bad about this meal - it was so good! Maybe watch the spicy sauces if you are not into too much spice - I love hot, but the green sauce was hurting (but good!). The flank steak with chimichurri was really good. The raw fish with five sauces was really delightful. And the speciality cocktails -... More

The food was great as was the service! The seafood cooked in a broth was so delicious. The staff was extremely friendly. We were a little apprehensive to try the restaurant based in reviews in December... The previous month's reviews were all excellent. I'm glad we went because everything was fabulous! A must try!

A must! Came across this restaurant by chance. Service is excellent. Our waiter, Cesar is most accommodating and helpful. All four entrees are excellent. So delicious and well presented. Caipirinha was very tasty. Will go to this restaurant again!

Two people we had lunch there. It was just across of our hotel. We went there with not much expectations but like the food a lot. We ordered and shared: empanadas, patacones with beef, yuca fries and crispy artichokes. All were very tasty and filling. Prices were very reasonable. I recommend this restaurant...

Bolivar restaurant was across from our hotel, so we gave it a try one evening. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was exotic, yet accessible. The arepas that started the meal were delicious and I really loved my tapas, particularly the fried artichokes. The atmosphere made us feel as though we were in another country. It was a... More

Our orders were messed up badly, two of our maindishes were something else from what we ordered. We had ordered three cevices as starters, only one appeared before our main dishes. The other two came afterwards. When we tried to ask why the waitress seemed to have forgotten english and could only speak spanish. Bad Bad Bad. Oh yeah, after... More
