Quaint little restaurant with live music on Fri and Sat nights. Service was attentive and polite. Food was extremely satisfying and the homemade sangria was very tasty! There are so many choices on the menu, the popular dishes from various countries in South America. We took our server's recommendations and were not disappointed. Price was very reasonable as well!

Colombian fusion restaurant couple of blocks from Ocean Drive. Friendly service, great food. Good atmosphere. Enjoyed the Tiraditos 5 Naciones (muy picante) and Mariscos al ajillo. You can find the menu here: http://bolivarmiamibeach.com/new-menu/ (12/2014). Recommended.

For the ambiance, the decor, the quality of the service and the food, you cannot go wrong with Bolivar. We loved it so much, that we are going back the very next day...

last minute search to find a restaurant away from Ocean Drive. Chose this Bolivar because of the reviews. Excellent exposure to Peruvian/Columbian/Equaduarian tastes. The mussel appetizers were killer, would have been satisfied w/a loaf of bread w/ this dish, sauce was delicious. Waitress recommended the 1st & 3 rd entree which we ordered and we're pleased with.

On the first night we had 2 tapas each and then really good bolivian pollo and a venezuelan beef dish. Both was excellent but two much. Therefore, on the second night we had together 7 tapas which was plenty and to die for. We can only recommend this restaurant. Very friendly staff.

Very interesting concept of south american fusion food. Normally I order the Bandeja Paisa (Colombia), but other plates from Peru, Venezuela are also very good. Good lunch prices.

We were down in Miami for a competition for one of out group. We wanted to find some good Latin food, and we scored with this one! The service was great. They always stopped by to make sure everything was good. Super friendly. Live music was good. We received free wine in the beginning, an appetizer, and a shot at... More

Arriving at this property on a cold evening, we were cordially greeted and given a nice table in this dark romantic restaurant with Latin music playing and a good vibe. We were offered a small shot glass of red wine which was beyond rancid and oxidized. If they are going to give out wine, they should ensure the wine is... More

The restaurant itself was very nicely decorated with a great atmosphere. The waiter was very attentive and the food was amazing. We had the beef empanadas for starters and they come with a tray of about 4 different sauces to choose from, loved it. I then had the Picahna steak with fried yuca on the side. The portion size was... More

I read about this in TripAdvisor and it most definitely lived up to it's reputation. We of course did the obligatory walk on Ocean Avenue a couple of times, but when it came time for dinner, we wanted to get away from the craziness and relax a bit. This place fit the bill perfectly. They serve food from many countries... More
