Three friends and I were looking for somewhere to eat and came across Amami while walking down Espanola. We were ushered inside with smiles and greetings by the owner who explained they are an Italian family. He talked a lot about his commitment to quality ingredients and cooking with passion which was great to hear. However... The owner was more... More

Thank you for the review, and I'm really sorry that you didn’t have a good experience. EVERYBODY is welcome at Amami, we don’t make any difference between tourist, locals, Italians or not Italians as you can see most of the review are from NON Italian guests, we try to give everybody a real warm welcoming Italian experience but sometimes we... After arriving late to South Beach, we were eager to find a late evening dinner. This place came up on an Open Table search. We were delighted to find this place! The food is delicious, and the service was top notch! I enjoyed the Caprese Salad and Baked Hawaiian Snapper. My husband had the 4 cheese pizza and Baked Salmon.... More

Along Espanola way but in the quiet side, Amami was my favourite choice in Miami Beach. The Tagliere misto is simply fantastic with first class ingredients, the pasta options are authentic italian and the tiramisù is the best I ever had! Good service and friendly owners!

Fantastic real italian Pizza! Great taste and dough. A very small restaurant a little bit hidden in Miami Beach. OK, waitress was not that friendy, maybe a bit shy. If they would Di a bit more on the personal level, they could resch much more! Food and prices are really good!

I can only review Amami on the food I ordered. We are Vegan and went there based on a review on Happy cow. We went here for a Vegan Pizza, and it was terrible. The upside is the owner did not charge us for it. Would not recommend this place for Vegans.

It doesn't look like much from the outside. It was empty, save one table, when we arrived and there was a line up outside by the time we left. I would rate this restaurant closer to 3 and 1/2 stars than 4. The appetizers were excellent. We ordered family style and shared. The buratta and prosciutto dish and the meatballs... More
