It was so good we went back for another dinner during our 10 day stay in the area. That's saying a lot considering the number of options here. The staff was great in helping us pick out dishes and wine. Of special note, the wine prices here are the lowest of all the restaurants we tried in the are?

Very small unassuming restaurant which we tried because of Yelp reviews and close proximity to where we were staying. What a fantastic find, throughly enjoyed and wish they were in Dallas. The first time we went we had pasta entrees which are homemade pasta, we asked for extra bread which we received promptly. We had the caprese salad appetizer which... More

I really wanted to like this place. I mean, I reallllly wanted to like it. Unfortunately, I just didn't. When we first walked in, the waitress tried to stick us in the corner by a machine where we would have been on top of another table and it was 20-30 degrees hotter than the rest of the restaurant. I asked... More

Had dinner here after reading the great reviews but was still blown away by how good it was. Really simply place, very small and cosy with a lovely personal touch. The shared starter with Burrata and meats was delicious and a real treat. The four different entrees were really good (especially the long flat pizzas) and the wine was very... More

After living in Italy for a long time, I personally can verify that Amami is the real deal. The appetizer with Salumi, Panzanelle and cheeses like Burrata and Parmesan was devoured in under 3 minutes and I didn't even get a chance to photograph our main dishes they were so good!

A very small authentic Italian just off Collins Ave. Good food (the pizzas are v good) and nice staff but there is a lacking of ambience. We were seated and dishes were recommended but the lack of appetisers were noticed (no offer of olives or bread although we saw all other tables get bread so assume this was an oversight)... More

Flat bread pizza, crisp and well seasoned that was a true surprise. Fresh chopped marzano tomatoes, basil right from the garden and superb wine. Also had a caprese salad with the freshest mozzarella. Truly the best Italian restaurant in the neighborhood which is filled with tourist traps all along Espanola way. Will go back often.

I have had dinner few days ago in this italian restaurant! It has been amazing! It's better of many restaurants in Italy. I tried the pizza and it was specias.. Thin and delicious..Also the toppings were very fresh. My friend choose the fettuccine with crabs.. Very very good! And to finish an italian "tiramisù": It looked to be in Italy!... More
