I know there are probably more authentic Cuban food, but this stuff is plenty good!

The Scene: After the flight to Miami and after we checked in to the hotel, the wife and I decided to get a very late dinner. Good thing that 10-ish is just getting started at South Beach. The Experience: We had no problem getting seated and we opted to sit outside and people-watch. The fried... read more

Right in the heart of The city, by the Española Way, this is one of the most famous Cuban restaurant in Miami Beach. It is well known by tourists. Anyway I've been here twice: first time sharing a table with colleague for a informal dinner; second time as solo traveller. I've been satisfy by the meal in both occasion. Not... More

Asked the concierge for a dinner recommendation, Cuban if possible. She pointed us to Havana 1957. Located at the "entrance" to Espanola Way, it was a short walk from our hotel. It was very busy but our wait was less than 5 minutes. We sat outside in the warm evening breeze and enjoyed some delicious sangria while people watching and... More

Place gets crowded, cost is typical tourist trap above average, but the food is good. I was looking forward to a good meal after strolling Collins drive and was happy that I made the choice. Gets crowded and must be able to tolerate eating outdoors with people passing bye, outside my comfort zone but glad I experienced it. People watching... More

My husband and I were recently visiting Miami Beach for the first time for our anniversary. We really wanted to try authentic Cuban food so we chose this place on the recommendation of our hotel concierge. We had a reservation and showed up early but were seated right away at an outside table. The restaurant was pretty crowded for a... More

We went here for my husband's birthday dinner and the food was fantastic really authentic. The place is popular, so be prepared to wait for a short time but the food comes out pretty quickly. The service is attentive without being overbearing. Would recommend this place for dinner.

Everything in Miami is too pricy, but this place is worth it, GREAT food, delicious cocktails. It's a must visit. Try the sampler appetizer, and the piña colada cocktail.

The waiter was not nice. The restaurant was crawded and noisy. The mojito has just a little of rum. The food was pretty good. A restaurant to avoid ...

The Havana 1957 has to be one of the best restaurants on the Lincoln strip. The decor in the restaurant make you feel if you really are in Cuba and the staff are really freandly. Our waiter George kept us entertained the whole evening with his great humor and advice and of course he made sure the flow of Mojitos... More
