Description: Scarpetta, by James Beard award recipient Scott Conant, offers a regional Italian menu combining the simplicity of Italy's cucina rustica with the refined flavors of fine cuisine amidst breathtaking views. An Italian expression that means "little shoe" - or the shape bread takes when used to soak up a dish - Scarpetta represents the pure pleasure of savoring a meal down to its very last taste. Scarpetta at Fontainebleau is also a recipient of the AAA Four Diamond Award. With more than a decade of experience in the culinary industry, Chef de Cuisine Marlon Rambaran brings his culinary prowess to Scarpetta.

Delicious food, everything was great. Had the duck raviolis and they were amazing - chocolate cake dessert was excellent as well. They do have some delicious wines but expect to spend some big bucks on a bottle.

Fontainebleau is really prime atmosphere, it's a great draw. I like the look, I like the feel of Scarpetta. I don't like the menu, nor squid, nor octopus. I ordered, poached swordfish in olive oil, with ice tea. Cost $32 plus tip.

This restaurant is in a beautiful hotel and it is visually pleasing itself. Service was excellent, except the wine steward, who tried to steer us to only extremely expensive wines and lectured my very knowledgeable spouse about the various wines. Appetizers were delicious, but the spaghetti with tomatoes and basil tasted like Chef Boyardee...yuck! To their credit, when I mentioned... More

Good classic Italian. Yellowtail appetizer was melt-in-mouth awesome. My wife's polenta was delicious. And our pastas were both great. Service very professional. Only complaint was the so-called music...this is not a dance club...turn it down.

The brunch choices were fresh and delicious. We loved the decor and the view of the ocean and pools.

We actually had Italian food the day before at Ceconni's at the SoHo House and were so disappointed so we went into Scarpetta a bit weary. THE FOOD WAS FANTASTIC! From the amazingly fresh bread and caponata, to the wine selection, to the fresh pasta, the entire experience was fantastic. The spaghetti with marinara and basil was simple and perfect,... More

I have been here more than 6 times this past year. As a resident of the beach, I'm always looking for a restaurant that's going to be that neighborhood place where they know you and you always want to go back to. Scarpetta has become this place for us. The staff treats us wonderfully, we have met Scott ( he... More

This was the second time I have dined here. The service is impeccable! I have dreamed about the polenta & mushroom appetizer since my first visit! The atmosphere is very chic, but not stuffy. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Every detail of our experience was executed with perfection. The scallops were perfectly seared, the pasta was perfectly cooked... More

While staying at the Fontainebleau, my wife and I invited two Miami friends to dinner at Scarpetta. The restaurant is located in the Sorrento Tower and is beautifully decorated with a very trendy look and feel. Upon arrival, we were promptly shown to our table. The entire wait staff were warm, professional and very attentive, as was the sommelier. I... More
