Good food, atmosphere not so much, staff a bit conceited

Mr Chow is a must go restaurant as in South Beach, but it is also a bit overrated. You definitely would need a reservation. The food is very good, the place very nice, the location is perfect as it is whithin the W hotel; but it is always crowded and the staff seems always overwhelmed....

The food was great! Service was impeccable, ambiance was slow until after 8 pm. Will definitely come back. We did the meal for two. Had the salt/pepper prawns, shrimp spring rolls for appetizer. Then, ordered the sea bass and fiery beef for main course. Fiery beef was a bit spicy but REALLY good!!! Sea bass was incredible!! We had the... More

Probably the last decent Mr.Chow on the market. They are struglling to maintain the classical service and attitude of the established old fashion houses. Nice to see that. The Chinese eurupenized menu taste good and the atmosphere accordingly. A good place to be for dinner.

$66 dollars for a two course meal that was measly, I could spend $4 for a Trader Joe's frozen meal and leave more satisfied. They refused To split the check (table of nine). No real atmosphere. Loud dated pop music and the most uncomfortable chairs (like leaning on a wooden plank). Service was (almost too) pleasant though.

Super chic location, crowded, pretty people, music and good service. It is not your typical chinese restaurant. Doesen't look oriental at all,but its a very nice place. The food..is GREEEAT. The sharing kind of serving works really well, good portions,if you don't eat that much, order less.

The amount of waiters in this restaurant is very high but ensures that a table is never left understaffed, the dishes are promptly brought and then clear and even water glasses get refilled rapidly and consistently. This high attention to small detail truly impressed me at my visit to Mr Chow in Miami. The food is very good, there is... More

The service at Mr. Chow is always friendly, helpful, and efficient. The waitstaff is cordial from the time you get to the door to the end of the meal. The restaurant us beautiful. Best to try the combo meals. You get to taste a little of everything. You will not walk away hungry and there is an excellent way to... More

Is it weird to have dreams about past food you've eaten? No, not really. Ok cool. Mr. Chow is a must when visiting South Beach. Service is great (and waiters are cute! just sayinggg). Food is on point. Really not much else to say.
