Simply good Italian Food

We found this small Italian restaurant one block north of the Palms Hotel, where we stayed. Located on the basement of a not very beautiful apartment block and maybe not too attractive from the outside it was a great surprise. There are only few tables inside and few on the sidewalk outside. Warm... read more

Great neighborhood restaurant. The owner and their staff are very friendly and accommodating. You feel like you are in a Mom and Pop restaurant in Italy. The food is really good. The wine list is fine, by the glass or bottle. They have specials almost every day except Sundays. Do go you won't regret it.

3.5 Stars. Meet my business associate there for a midday snack since it is quiet and ordered ice cream and coffee, both were pretty good. The ice cream was very creamy just like I like it. We were there for about 2 hours and the service was on top of things and polite. Staff was a little bored and kitchen... More

Holy Hesus. This is the greatest pizza I have ever eaten. The first time I was here I had the spinach salad. It was light, very fresh, and very tasty. But salad is not pizza. Please reference the picture I took of this pizza masterpiece. The tomato sauce was fresh and flavorful, the crust thin, crispy, and would make a... More

I ate here twice during my staying in Miami Beach. Pros: the food is good, and the quantity is generous. Nice staff. Fairly quiet. Cons: they had no lettuce early on a Saturday night. Very limited beer selection--no beer on draft. Dated tired décor.

We were looking for a bite after the beach, we ordered two pizzas and two beers , bill was over 60 usd. Setting is far from deserve such prices that would be more suitable for a location such as Lincoln Road. Quality decent but value for money was definitely not there.

We had one day in Miami Beach before we boarded our cruise. We waundered around aimlessly looking for a decent looking restaurant that wasn't in or associated with a hotel and stumbled across Cantina 27. The time was about noon and they were very busy. We thought that this was a good sign and it was. We took a seat... More

We ate outside a couple of times, watching the cars and buses go by. The food is very good and the service not bad, depending who serves. This was a place where you could pass by at 10:00 pm and still find people eating and relaxing, so that says a lot.

The pasta and sauces were prepared beautifully, some of the best we've had outside of Italy. Our sommelier, Abe was both engaging, extremely knowledgeable and fun to chat with. My wife and I highly recommend Cantina 27.
