Enjoyed a light lunch on the patio overlooking the gardens and pool area. Very tasty and a lovely quiet spot.

Although the dinner menu offers a wide range of options, the atmosphere offers nothing special. Prices are high and dishes are unremarkable. The Breakfast buffet is a blind experience. Host staff does not show you what is offered. It was just going through the motions for the staff. "Here's your table....don't forget to pay" kind of thing. I kept finding... More

Stayed at this hotel and loved it! Essensia was very tasty - a bit quiet but the food was great. Their chef has a great story for those of you who are foodies. Many of their herbs and smaller vegetables they actually grow on the hotel grounds in their garden - pretty cool! We had the cambino fish with their... More

great location - great service - great food. In the Palms hotel, the waiters were great - the menu wasn't the typical south beach menu, some nice dishes.

I came here after having such a bad experience at the Edition Hotel and I came here to have a real meal. I told the waiter, Cheryl, about my expierence at the Edition and mentioned I here for a birthday weekend and she was so awesome and extremely friendly! She made me feel welcomed and I felt recognized for being... More

We enjoyed both lunch and dinner at this wonderful restaurant. We have never had better service anywhere. Helpful, attentive, gracious, perfect! Lester and George made it a special lunch. Food matched the service. Wine was delicious. The ambiance is relaxing, especially in the hustle, bustle of Miami. We were staying at the Fontainebleau but would have preferred to stay here.... We are always skeptical re "high end" restaurants - designer, organic, bla-bla. In general, just extra money for the entourage. We have spent several nights in Miami Beach and explored several places, that were fair enough to eat. Finally, we stepped down to the hotel restaurant, just being too lazy to get outside. We got hosted in exact place, we... More

Me and two other friends decided to eat Brunch at Essensia on a Saturday afternoon because we were staying at the hotel and were starving. The dining area and outside scenery were spectacular, the food selection was okay, and our server was not attentive. However, when we received our food from Jean he became our waiter. Jean asked us if... More
