Fresh food gear towards the health concious eaters. The chef is amazing, she changes the menu every season, she uses the best organic ingredients and her recipes are rich and flavorful. Service is first class. I love The Lemongrass Thai soup.

We had dinner here in the beautiful Palms Resort. The attention to detail was noticeable, both in the decor, and the staff. I loved my swordfish with beet risotto, all perfectly cooked. My husband had high quality blackened pork tenderloin, which he thought needed more spice, and came with really delicious, buttery whipped caulifower. The atmosphere was refined and romantic.... Essensia is a wonderful restaurant that we've enjoyed every time we visit South Beach. The food is local, organic, and gourmet, and nearly everything we've ordered there has been excellent. The ambiance on the outdoor covered patio is very nice, and the service is excellent. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. This visit, we even got to meet Julie... More

From the bread and butter or olive tapenade, to the Orange Creme Brulee, every mouthful was lucious. My husband and I shared all we ordered. We had the Kale Ceasar Salad, the Eggplant Parmigiana and the Cauliflower Couscous. The latter dish was extraordinary. It's made with nuts and other delicious flavors, also served to be eaten with kale. It's the... More

Great setting. Great menu. Lovely waitperson. Service slow beyond belief. Appears to be the kitchen as most tables had slow service. Food really inconsistent. Some dishes good. Others inedible. There are many better places

Essensia, the Palms Hotel on Miami Beach impresses when you enter the hotel lobby heading for the restaurant. Beautifully designed. The restaurant itself was also nicely appointed. Service "missed" but just a little. outside garden area exquisite. Nothing exciting or memorable.

Parking is always an issue in South Beach, but if you are dining at one of the hotel establishments they will valet park for you. On our arrival we were told $25.00 by the valet, but if you got your ticket validated it would only be $10.00. We opted for outside seating, beautiful ambiance with a romantic atmosphere. We ordered... More

Finally! I found my place in Miami!! Essensia, my new favorite restaurant, is quiet, lovely ambiance, on the beach (not in crazy part of South Beach), has vegetarian-friendly menu, delicious food, and friendly, attentive, and professional staff -and right on the beach! Free parking apparently too (which we didn't realize) -important in Miami Beach. It was my boyfriend's birthday and... More

First of all the location of the hotel and restaurant is not great, in the worse part of South Beach on the 30th street. The interior is nice and the restaurant looks good with the dimmed lights. The hostess that was taking us to the table was unpleasant and robotic and made the first impression rather a question whether we... More
