Having dinner with one vegan daughter and the other a vegetarian while I'm a carnivore can be challenging -- this restaurant had it all and it was all delicious! The atmosphere was chic and the staff was very, VERY attentive!

The Hotel ambiance once you enter makes you feel that you are in the entrance of a old Victorian Mansion with a decor that calms the mind and wants you to walk forward to see what is past the large staircase surrounding the interior. You are welcomed by a kind tentative host who walks you through doors that open themselves.... More

We pretty much ordered the most expensive thing on the menu (the fliet mignon). But it was so worth it. It was the best dish we ever had. We had just gotten married on the beach and had our dinner in a private tiki cabana on the hotel grounds. It was wonderful.

We stayed at the hotel and must admit that we were hesitant to eat at the "hotel restaurant". We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Yes, it was a little expensive but it was a great experience. The breakfast buffet is especially a treat. Lots of options to choose from. We recommend that you stop by... More

Essensia is has is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami Beach. This is the first time I have visited for Sunday Brunch and I was not disappointed. The very personal staff makes you feel right at home, while the freshness and flavors keep you coming back for more. Try the poke, eggs benedicts or the steak and eggs, yum!... More

For those staying at the hotel, the restaurant is a MUST and I would recommend it to locals as well. The hotel has a garden in back and many herbs/vegetables were used in our dishes and I could taste the difference. We sat outside on the beautiful, gently lit terrace. Our server, Omar, was attentive and very well-versed on the... More

I have eaten at Essensia many times and Chef Julie Frans always finds ways to get more inventive. The service is great, especially in the evenings. The porch dining is very relaxing and romantic. It is in a beautiful hotel in a great location. I am totally in agreement with all the positive reviews

My girlfriend and I were staying at the Palms, so Essensia was pretty much an easy choice for dinner after fun out at the beach and pool. The wait staff and helpers were so kind and fun to talk to. Attention to every detail was given by all to ensure a fantastic experience. The back porch outside area was always... More

Just got back from the most wonderful lunch we have had in many years. My wife took a group of 14 women for a Lunch and Museum tour in Miami. Chef Julie Frans made us a wonderful fresh salad from her organic garden. The rest of the lunch was exceptional. There was not one complaint from 14 women was was... More

4 of us dined on the porch/terrace. The service was exceptional and food second to none. The venue fells very special, with a calm spacious yet up market feel. there was no sense of being rushed and the waiter (young man from Haiti) was knowledgable about the menu and explained certain items which we were unfamiliar with. This is certainly... More
