Great experience, pretty good sushi.

As many have noted the "gimmick" here are the floating boats that pass by. If you've had sushi in other major cities you may have encountered this before. The main thing you need to know is 1) Arrive early! This place is small and if you are not there when the doors open at 6 expect a wait. If... read more

This place was recommend to us by a local. It was a great suggestion! The restaurant is kind of poorly marked and hidden in a strip mall. It is a bit of a hole in the wall but it also has a certain charm to it. The restaurant is dominated by a u-shaped bar surrounded by a canal with tiny... More

This is by far my favorite sushi restaurant. EVER. It is so fresh and you can watch them prepare everything right in front of you. The best part of this dinning experience is the food comes out in a "conveyor method" but as little boats hold the sushi and you grab as they go. This place is so magical and... More

Place was ratty and could use a good cleaning but the sushi was the freshest I have had outside of Japan. I observed the chef and he washed his hands often and used good technique. Sushi is served on rotating boats and you grab without knowing what it is but it does not matter...everything was good.

I'm not a sushi fan, but a friend of mine took me there and it was awesome. The place is small and always packed so be ready to wait a few. We had to wait for a while to get sit but it was so worth it. I loved the food, the service, concept, everything. I highly recommend it.

This little hole in the wall rocks if you like sushi. There is always a waiting line, that moves quickly. While, waiting I heard at least four foreign languages. It is a great place if you are a single. No wait. Have a beer while eating, there will be someone interesting at the sushi bar to your right or left. The place... More

We like to eat here about 2 times a month. There is always a wait.... Just expect it. Put your name in, order a beer and wait for about 30 minutes. This is a small hole in the wall, with little to no signage, but has great sushi that is consistent. Definitely worth the wait. Sushi is freshly made and... More

Food was good- sushi- sashimi and dumplings floating on boats- the wait time too long- and yes The waiter guy who sits you needs to be better. Strange person- and he does sits whomever he likes- NO SUSHI FOR YOU. Saw it done to a couple. Back to the food- little dumplings are great. Sashimi and rolls are good- Place... More

My girlfriend and I love sushi and this place beats all! We go at least once every two weeks. It's a hole in the wall but lately it's gotten a lot of recognition. It opens after 6pm and you can expect to wait for at least 10-20 minutes at any time. Katana doesn't have that many chairs and only three... More
