For eating sandwiches at lunch and not having hugely high expectations for such a meal it was actually rather surprising. The food was quite fantastic - and given it's location and association with the hotel I wasn't even blown away with the price of the meal. Portion size was good and quality was high. The service was - well to... More

Sat out on the terrace with a view (partially blocked) across the Bay, nice spot for a drink but unfortunately this is also the spot reserved for smokers! Chose to eat here from the snack menu...very good service food arrived quickly excellent cheese/bacon burger while the wife went for the humus with pita and crudites.. Very good service and food... We've been wintering in Miami for many years. When we first came, there were several restaurants mentioned by Fodor's - Azul, Baleen (Gibraltar now), Versailles, etc. etc., and we tried them all, including in recent years Michael's Genuine and The Villa by Barton G in the Versace Mansion (just recently reborn as Il Sole). Somehow we've never tried Atrio until... More

My husband took me here for our anniversary. I was taking it all in the atmosphere is romantic very nice views. The food amazing! Started with the harvest corn soup a must try! Our waiter was Edwin. He was ok, performed his duties, but never smiled once or really engaged us and it could have made our dinner more special,... More

How strange - apparently they don't want guests! Can't make reservations at tripadvisor, yelp, open table, by phoning the restaurant, or even at their own website! The workaround is to call the front desk and ask to be connected to the bar and they MAY take your reservation. Worked for us - and the place was practically empty! Asked the... More

I had heard very nice comments about this restaurant. The food was good, menu somewhat limited, and the prices were probably about average for this type of place. I was disappointed that the view was facing west to town and the freeway rather than east to Biscayne Bay. Service was very good. HOWEVER, I had been given a gift card... More

The breakfast buffet was perfectly adequate, with a good selection of fruits, pastries, cereals, and egg dishes. I was disappointed, however, that oatmeal was not on the buffet but would be an extra $4.00 charge. But when I asked, they agreed to serve the oatmeal hot from the kitchen with no surcharge. Although the service was good, one staff member... More

Had dinner here on the night before we boarded cruise ship. Impressive décor. View of Miami at night from the 25th floor location was gorgeous. Waited an hour for entrees after having soup. Other customers arriving after us were getting entrees before us. When our entrees finally arrived, mine and my husband's were room temperature. A friend had ordered beef... More

Food was between Ok and good. Dessert was very good (chocolate meringue). Service was very, VERY slow. We were a bit disappointed about the service here - the waiter seemed to be doing us a favor, as if he was the queen's butler not recognized by his talent and forced to work at Atrio. On the other hand, the lady... More
