My boyfriend and I were strolling around the area and deiced to walking in and read the menu , it was love at first sight. My boyfriend love's clam chowder and he said that this place offers one of the best he has ever had ", it was chunky with meat, potatoes and it was creamy , simply fabulous. The service... more

My husband and I went to Miami to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary and we asked the front desk clerk at the hotel about seafood restaurants located near the hotel. He said "Bubba Gump" or "The Oceanaire Seafood Room". Since we had been to Bubba Gump in Chicago and New York we wanted something a little more upscale. We were... more

For a sophisticated European foodie this is just less than average fast food place. I would suggest the management to send one of the chef's to go to France, Italy or at least to Altamar restaurant in Miami to see what the seafood is. By the way, crab cakes are not cooked in a microwave. And stale cabbage with vinegar... more

We went here for my sister's birthday and the service and food were both first class! There's a very elegant interior but we chose to eat outside where there's a hive of activity going on. Our server Benjamin was fantastic and offered us just the right amount of attention without being o.t.t. Will go again when next in Miami. more

Great for any occasion, Oceanaire never fails to impress with its fresh seafood, and excellent wine list. I typically pair up one of the many fresh offerings of the day with a Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley. Although I'm not the raw bar type, theirs looks mighty impressive. I agree with the other writers, the service is flawless. more

Had dinner here with my wife and 11 year old son -- and we all love seafood. The restaurant is beautifully done, with plenty of leather, wood, and chrome, along with crisp white tablecloths. The atmosphere was akin to "elegantly casual" - there were business types fresh from work, and others in jeans. At the front of the restaurant is... more

It was a wonderful dining experience. The staff, managment, and chef, were so warm and very interested in how we... more

We are locals. Amazing that here in South Florida there is a shortage of a fine seafood restaurants that can offer fresh seafood that is not frozen or fried. NOT at Oceanaire Seafood Room, the decor is reminiscence to an ocean liner, modern but cozy. The food is fantastic and the variety is impressive. We started with the oyster platter... more
