This is a very expensive restaurant, with, as the waiter proclaimed only the freshest fish, so my expectations were high. While the restaurant wasn't busy our waiter was slow, not very professional with comments like ("I overheard you talking and wondered..." "I told you it was sweet") which detracted from the meal. The bus boy seemed lost and our empty... More

We ate at this place this past weekend. We were seated right away in a very professional way. Our waiter was very helpful although not very knowledgable about fish. (Mentioned that the grouper was fresh from Alaska). The food was very good in general. The appetizers excellent, probably the best oyster Rockefeller I ever had. The whole fried snapper was... More

As good as any seafood restaurant in Miami, but also quite pricey. All the fish is extremely fresh and even side dishes show an attention to detail. Only down side is the waiter ran my credit card for another table's bill, then called me to inform me of it as we were pulling out of the parking garage. I had... More

This was a delightful find. We only wish it was closer to home so we could return routinely! The service, food and atmosphere were all top-knotch. The chef prepared a special vegan dish for my husband which he loved, and the seafood options were some of the best I've seen in South Florida. It was hard to choose but the... More

This is one of the restaurants in Miami that I am nervous about taking guest to. I have had some amazing experiences and some not so much. The food is very fresh, the ambiance is very nice....However, some times the dishes are "Hmmmm" ok. I have had very expensive fresh lobster 2lbs over cooked. I know i should ask for... More

Fourth and ... last time. Restaurant was empty, only 3 tables. I had the Fried Fisherman's platter: over fried, greasy. My wife and son had the shrimp scampi, a normal pasta plate with 6 shrimps. Lastly, the Tres Leches, that was before the best dessert of the restaurant, did not taste at all. The white jacket of our Maître d'Hotel... More

We love this restaurant. The Decor makes you feel like you are in a Cruise ship. The food is always fresh, specially the oysters, delicious. Best Escargots ever!!! Truly a great experience, and we enjoy coming back all the time.

We decided to visit The Oceanaire on the last night of our honeymoon. We went during happy hour, which is a really good deal because the hours are 4pm-close, which are fantastic. The happy hour menu was really diverse and affordable. The menu itself is pretty pricy, so we were happy to order from the $5-$7 choices. We started with... More
