We come to this restaurant all the time. It was recommended from a Chinese friend of ours. For us, is the best place to have an authentic dim sum experience. It is not a fancy restaurant, but you are here for the food. The dumplings are addictive, so make sure you try as many as you can. Our favorites are... More

After reading reviews of how awesome their dim sum is.. i was very excited to fulfill my craving. My boyfriend and I arrived to the restaurant on friday evening at 8:05pm, mind you there was only 4 other tables. We were immediately seated and given tea and water. We ordered right away at 8:10pm as other tables(regulars, it seemed) started... More

This place is non descript but the food is wonderful. We go there for dim sum but they also have a full menu. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is attentive. The atmosphere is all that keeps this place from being rated a 5. It could def use a little TLC with new decor and dinnerware/flatware. But since... More

Where else this side of Singapore can one get dim sum in this kind of assortment, quality, and reasonable price? I even take adventurous business guests here (with warning not to wear dress clothes). You know that you are onto something when the clientele of a Chinese restaurant are mostly Oriental.

Our Son and D-I-L eat there often and took us recently for their dim sum. What a treat! Delicious, served hot, cheerful service. Varied , yet distinctive flavor for each of the many dim sum menu items. All were good and some were great. According to our son, their regular Chinese/ American fare is only fair, so they go there... More

Every shirmp dishes are really good. We came for the shirmp crepe but we didn't know that they don't serve it after 3pm. So don't make the same mistake as we did :( Waiters are friendly too. We ordered so much we only finished 1/4 of the food. It was really embarrassing lol.

When we're in Miami, we get our "dim sum fix" at Kon Chau. The dumplings are so fresh and delicious that we end up ordering extra to bring home. Service is friendly and fast.

Good Dim Sum at reasonable prices is a hard find in Miami. Kon Chau is located at a strip mall far from SoBe and Downtown Miami, but still worth the trip. Everything about the place is no-nonsense and unpretentious. The interior is quite sad, service is efficient but uninterested. The food is served in plain cookware. But it tastes great... More

Reasonably solid and authentic dim sum, noodles, and dumplings in a Bird Road strip mall setting that is nothing short of a complete dump. (Note: on a recent evening visit, Kon Chau appears to have cleaned up its act--the premises looked better in the evening.) I find Kon Chau's duck soup, dumplings, and bao (buns) quite authentic and at least... More
