We have been going to this restaurant for years with my husband and friends all pilots, they are the best "finders" of the best in every city. Yuki and his wife gives selflessly of their hospitality, they are so friendly and hospitable that their personality rubs off on their employees. The sushi is exquisite authentic Japanese dishes, please try the... More

My husband and I came here for dinner. My husband had eaten here before, but had not been in a while. He was surprised to see the same owner still there, Yukio Omata, who greeted us as we came in. The decor is simple, but definitely gives you a Japanese feel. We were seated right away and our waitress came... More

My husband and I have been to Sushi Ko several times. After having been to Tokyo for two weeks, we had dinner here this time and found much of the same authentic flavors we experienced in Japan. But in addition, there are many creative dishes, like what they call Dynamite, which is a delicious concoction of seafood with Japanese flavors... More

I am living in Japan and frequently visit Miami as a Pilot. Ko , actualy Yuki-san ,owner of this restaurant is very friendly and serious about Japanese taste. You can enjoy real Japanese taste as if you are sitting restaurant in Tokyo. If you visit Ko, say " Japanese Biz jet Pilot recommended" Now you could make Japanese friends...

We came to Sushi-ko for the first time four years ago and became regulars. We tried several other fancier sushi restaurants in Miami and there is no better sushi in town. Good price and extremely good quality. We tried almost everything on the menu, even the noodles. Every plate is very good and the sushi is super fresh and delicious.... More

And if you're into it, it's the best fried ice cream in Miami. Service is SUPER friendly, with the owner usually up and about.

Don't be discouraged by the location. Think of this as a hidden secret, service is always fast and friendly, sushi is always beyond amazing. I recommend the "69 roll" to any first timers. Once you go KO there's no other sushi you need to know.

Excellent sushi. Enuff said. Go try it. And since Tripadvisor asks me to put at least 50 characters - *excellent sushi*. Imaginative unusual rolls, fresh fish. Service varies, and it's in a boring strip mall - so I didn't give it 5 "stars". But sushi is great - and that's what counts. Ok, that's 50 characters now.
