Stone Crab Season, what more can you say

We had 1.5 days in Miami so we wanted to sample some of the food scene. On the web I searched for the best Stone Crab places in Miami and Garcia’s was on the list. I was familiar with Joe’s but didn’t want anything that dressy. We grabbed an Uber from our hotel and made the short trip to Garcia’s... read more

Went for lunch 1/29/2016 with wife and mom. Was a little too cool to sit outdoors so we ate inside. Nice ambiance, nice welcome. Immediately noticed something wrong when we were given menus. The prices were no where near the posted menu prices. I asked if there were "other" menus, our waiter replied "no". Regardless we ordered. Started with 2... More

Grandmadre-cita greeted us and showed us to our seats. instantly, we were given saltines and the best fish dip I've ever had, shortly followed by the best mojito! WOW! We had the seafood chowder and fish tacos that were terrific. The key lime pie could have used more lime juice, but the fish and ambiance more than made up for... More

We eat at Garcia's everytime we go to Miami. It is the best seafood restaurant with a beautiful view of the Miami River. The yellow tail snapper is delicious.

Garcia's was a delicious seafood spot right on the water, and they had a great vibe my mind. I visited with a few friends while we were in Miami, and opted to sit outside. The inside is perfectly adequate, but the views outside along the canal are really nice. Service is friendly, and I like that they give you a... More

Feels like old Havana. Lots of atmosphere. Great service. Good food. A little expensive, and portions are not large. Nice place to take out of town visitors

Recommended by friends who are foodies, we stopped at Garcia Seafood Grille after a morning in the Everglades on Airboat In Everglades (a great excursion; see separate review). It takes a little navigating from I-95, but is well worth the effort. Right on the river, our car was valet parked and we went in and right up the stairs to... More

Went to Garcia's with my son. Food is too expensive, and quality is very poor. I ordered shrimp with a Ceasar sald. My son order grilled Mahi and fries. The shrimp plate was $15.00 and fish platter was $18.00. We'll my son's fries had a paper of some sort and shrimp quantity was minuscule. I will not be a patron... More
