After several days in South Beach I wanted to ge the away a bit from the prices. Having a car we went to Garcia's. They have very good food that is half the price of SoBe. Looks and smells like a fish restaurant. Go upstairs and sit outside. Grouper was grilled and very good.

We had a fantastic seafood lunch at Garcia. The service was was great, fast and efficient. The food was amazing. We regularly eat seafood, but Garcia beats them all. Something is about the preparation and freshness. Loved the grilled shrimps on the skew, and the clusters of calamari. the conch was chewy and tasteless, though. - so we will skip... More

I am middle of the road on this. On my most recent visit I had their Mahi Mahi special. The sauce was flavorful, but the fish steak was cut thin without much flavor. The house salad was basic. Service was attentive.

We stayed at a nearby rental and came to Garcia's for our first dinner in Miami. Upon entrance we were greeted in Spanish and it soon became clear that most of the patrons were locals. We enjoyed the food - grilled fish with the traditional moros (rice with black beans) and maduros.( sweet plaintains.). My daughter had a very good... More

This restautant never fails to serve good food.... Dont judge by the looks, it is horrible, but good! Fresh fish caught daily! Nice ugly terrace, and next to the water... Can bring your boat! Not so clean, but freshness of the fish compensates!!!

I have been going to this miami staple for over 30 years, the shrimp I ordered came dripping with oil, and the stone crab claws were less than stellar. It pains me to write such a poor review, but when monty's in coconut grove serves up a better meal, than garcias, you know something is up. Pass this one by,... More

very fresh seafood, great customer service. Bartender was awesome, very good drinks. Whatever you order the drinks are well made, the portion is customers choice. My shrimp was very fresh and good flavor. The seafood spread was fresh very tasty. The grilled grouper was good, and the side of mashed potatoes is a nice choice. The staff was very accommodating,... We were a party of three and sat upstairs on the rail outside overlooking the river. Other reviews lay out the land, a small market downstairs, valet or meter parking around the streets. I did not actually use it, but it looks like they do have an elevator and ramp if needed. So you have to accept some realities -... More
