Good hidden spot

Brought here by business partner that was familiar with the area. Very pleasant. Food tasted great and service was excellent. Prices for lunch are pocket friendly. Sat inside because the day was too warm to sit outside, but on a cool day the view can be enjoyed.

This place didn't live up to the hype, the food was average at best and overpriced. The outdoor seating was cramped and while it did overlook the river, that did little to disguise the basic beach shack vibe. Service was relatively fast and friendly. Tip: during the day pay for the valet parking; for $1 more it's easier and worth... More

We received this recommendation from the concierge at the intercontinental hotel. Off the beaten trail but totally worth it! Well-established family run business (it seems). Head up the stairs from the fresh fish market to sit on the high top table on the back deck and enjoy incredible service/ nice water view of the boats and wonderful food! My husband... More

I went for lunch and had a dolphin with salad. Perhaps in a sandwich it is better, but the salad was just a bunch of lettuce with a few tomatoes, no dressing even offered. The waiter was friendly and accomodating, but I sat at the counter and saw that my dish was prepared incorrectly, and quickly retrofitted. No attempt to... More

Great place, I've been coming here for years & it's always a pleasure. Fresh seafood & great view of the Miami River. I can't wait to go again.

The portions are right. The fish and seafood is fresh. The view is fun so be willing to wait at the bar for few to watch the yachts go by! Flies can be an irritant but ask for some lemons and squeeze out the juice on a plate - flies hate lemon. They know how to serve a beer, frosted... More

Shrimp stuffed Snapper on an amazing roasted garlic sauce with an excellent service, on a quiet evening by the Miami river for a family of four. We always enjoy visiting this spot while we visit and it never fails its quality.

We had dinner at Garcia's last Friday evening after arriving in from NY. My partner decided that we should try the restaurant after seeing a segment from one of Anthony Bourdain's cooking/travel shows. I was not impressed. Some of the dishes were nicely done, such as the conch fritters. The fried oysters were soggy and the grilled fish tasteless, though... More

This restaurant is worth the visit. There is a deck out back on the canal that is open but out of the weather. The seafood was fresh and beautiful. After lunch I bought Stone Crab Claws to take home; the staff wrapped them up carefully for my flight. The only issue is parking is scare. There are meters along the... More
