Two of us went for lunch on a weekday & sat on the top outdoor patio. Had cracked conch which was cut too thick & was tough & chewy. The mahi sandwich was supposed to be blackened, but it basically had no flavor. The first order of French fries were almost raw & were brought to the table cold. We... More

Went to Garcia's for a quick lunch around 3pm on a Monday and had a very nice time. Started with a spicy seafood gumbo soup and it was the best! Followed by a very decent grilled dolphin sandwich. It tasted great but thought it just a little small for the price. Great lunch and reasonably priced. This place has ben... More

Sit outside and enjoy the view from the patio, location is tucked away so drive or cab needed. Loved it.

I dined at this restaurant for Sunday lunch on 7/27/14. We were a party of 6 celebrating my mother in laws birthday. The staff accommodated us perfectly and we had a nice big area in the sofas all to ourselves. The drinks and food was delicious but PRICEY as we spent over $400. I recommend the strawberry mojitos which were... More

Seems this place was popular but has lost its charm. Nice views, casual and fish is fresh but expensive for the size portions. Example appetizer: grilled shrimps $14 for 5 only. Plates start at $18 +. We ordered the yellowtail and it was $40 with 2 fried plantain and salad on the side. In my opinion this is expensive for... More

We had just moved our son into an apartment in the neighborhood and wanted to go out and celebrate. Went to Garcia's and was very impressed with the service, friendliness, promptness, food and cold beer. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the traffic on the Miami River. Great place, we will return, it'll be our restaurant of choice when we... More

We were a party of 6. We really enjoyed the free appetizer with crackers. Almost as much as the fresh fish. We ate inside, although the patio looked lovely right on the river. It really has a local feel. So glad we choose Garcia's for our last meal in Miami.

Have not been to Garcia's in many years and decided to have late lunch/early dinner there yesterday. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor, and there is both inside/outside options for dining. The outdoor terrace gives you a great view of the river, but not in late afternoon August!!!! We got there around 4:30 and the place was pretty empty.... More

Located in a structure on the Miami River's newly gentrifying area, it has an old fashioned flavor, fresh fish, and reasonable prices, right next door to new and really expensive Sea Salt and Pepper.
