VERY FRESH SEAFOOD

Garcia's is an institution on the Miami River near downtown Miami. My wife & I hadn't been there in quite a few years, so we decided to take a ride to revisit for lunch on a Saturday. It did not disappoint us. When you walk in you'll see their seafood market on display. We both had fresh... read more

Garcia's features a two for one lobster for around $60 dollars. a great value if cooked well. My lobsters arrived a bit dried. Not the typical tendernes i would have espect from a fresh catch. On the upside the mojitos are one of the best in Miami as far as I can tell from hundred other mojitos i have enjoyed... More

I try different restaurant most of the time, and there area some places that deserve reviews, this is one of those places. I don't even bother to write something when the place is mediocre or even good, but Garcia's, deserves my time to write this words, and by the way, to make me revive the moments I spent there enjoying... We went today for lunch! We know Garcia's is known for fresh sea food! One of us had grouper which was NOT fresh and seemed thawed & then over cooked! To top it all, it wasn't even hot! Second was grilled "Jumbo" shrimp! There were 6 average sized shrimp which were tasteless! The ceasar salad was wilted and appeared to... More

Garcia's Seafood is (since 1966) a real Miami institution. My Miami standard's - a classic along the Miami River. Overall, it's a very "average" experience. This mid-week hot sticky summer evening we went all-out, sitting on hot sticky bar tables for 2 along the Miami River. While never bitten, we & are are table were swarming with house flies throughout... More

Ok here is the deal, I read review after review and they all read the same way. The best seafood and worst service. So LISTEN UP, hands down best seafood. Brought the whole fish to our table before cooking so we could see it. Specials were great, stuffed lobster was fantastic. Butterfly snapper in Peruvian sauce was exceptional. They know... More

While Garcia's is out of the way from my Aventura con, it is our go to place for the freshest fish in Miami. Parking is not easy, but Valet for Miami is pretty reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would rate it a 5 star but they use a little too much salt, which I forgot to ask... More

Wonderful Food. A little pricey. Two of us. Two appitizers, one glass wine, and two entress. Bill including tip over $ 100.00. Gave 4 stars because our waiter was not attentive. Never ask if we wanted our drinks refilled or how our dinners were or if we wanted dessert Poor service on his part.
