We were recommended Green Street Cafe by staff at our hotel. I took a look at the website and immediately liked the idea of salads and hummus and fresh stuff after lots of heavier food in other Miami restaurants. Service was a little bit slow but we didn't care cos it was cool in there and very hot outside! Salads... More

The wait was 45 minutes for 5 people inside. Chose inside because it was rainy and lots of dogs and smokers - I wasn't up for it. I missed my text saying the table was ready by 14 minutes so they gave the table away and we waiting another 1hr and 20 mins - we were ready to leave when... More

The breakfasts that I had on two occasions were outstanding. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. We were lucky both times and did not have to wait...we went early. I would recommend sitting outside as it is quite pleasant. There were dogs there, but no dog issues like another reviewer noted.

The food was okay, not necessarily good for the price. However, the wait time for the table was ridiculous. The front desk girl was overwhelmed and would just guess at wait times. When they texted you to go back, she could never find that she texted you. She would then ask you to wait longer.

Great casual out door dining spot. The ambiance is better than the food but both are good. Sitting outside gives you an opportunity to take in all the Grove has to offer - both good a bad. Equally good for brunch, lunch, dinner or late night. A Coconut Grove classic!

I love dogs but there were a couple of dogs licking from plates or tables, not the kind of thing you expect on a public restaurant! Other than that, food was good and the staff was friendly.

Green Street Cafe should be a must visit when you are in Coconut Grove. There is always an active outdoor crowd along with great people-watching. Dining is also available indoors. Great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Hummus appetizer, spinach salad and the smoked turkey panini are among the many highlights. Be sure to choose the shoestring french fries that... More

Even after a heavy rain when others were closed, we were able to sit outside and relax while we had a couple of drinks. The staff is very friendly. Will definitely go back for a regular meals as well.

Went Sunday and back again this morning for omelettes and coconut crusted French toast with rum caramel and bananas for dessert. Yes we had dessert with our breakfasts and would do it again. We asked for the recipe and the wonderful chef, Kimberly came out to greet us. This is a fantastic restaurant. Gret ambiance, food, and hospitality.
