Ordered the lobster entree. Last time it was just EXCELLENT. Best ever. This time hard to eat, overcooked, I should have returned it. Could hardly crack the shell. The Gewurtztraminer was not cold so they served another white wine, turned out to be a low value Austrian wine. Bcoming like any other touristic restaurant. Never going back. Sorry. Classified.

This restaurant had a back room for private dinner meetings, very secluded and comfortable for a group of 10-20+. Large screen TV and large window for a great open feel. The food and service were good as well. I didnt see the prices.

One of my very favorite spots in Miami, The River Oyster Bar is an upscale but understated gem of a local restaurant serving very high quality seafood and shellfish in an urbane, refined setting. Prices are reasonable given the very high quality here, and the place has an urban, sophisticated feel to it. (The ambience sits somewhere between that of... More

Great oyster, I mean great selection, great service, wonderful appetizer, great atmosphere, no tourist at all. This place it's for local Miamians who loves seafood. Everything have always been perfect. I suggest to seat at the bar to eat: the bar tenders are very smart and it's a pleasure to deal with them. We use to come almost once a... More

I checked out the menu ahead of time and thought it looked interesting; everything that is but the blue crab gnocci. I love good blue crab and I occasionally enjoy gnocci - but together? - no thank you. To begin, we tried a mixed half dozen oysters. Awesome! A couple of other apppetizers came next, including some tasty razoe clams.... More

We did not have oysters, but everything else we tried was fresh and excellent. Good drinks. We sat at the bar, very nice and friendly atmosphere.

Food is absolutely great - they know what they are doing. Very fun and lively environment. The crowd is diverse but mostly a younger crowd at the bar. It is a perfect restaurant in Brickell and a great place to go for happy hour. Service sometimes lags and when they get busy, they can easily get overwhelmed.

We were able to walk to this bustling, busy restaurant situated close to the river. The food was fresh and very tasty. My husband had oysters and enjoyed the selection available. The fish was perfectly cooked.

Came here on a Thursday after work meetings. It was full by 5:30. Good food, fun environment and very reasonable. Popular with late 20's to 55 plus crowd.

Food and service was great. We had blue crab gnocci (to die for) and cobia entry. All appetizers were good and there were many more that we would order that looked interesting. Drinks were excellent. Happy hour is offered until 7 p.m., seems like a good pre dinner deal for a couple of drinks/apps. Place gets busy, reservations recommended. Service... More
