A gem

This restaurant is romantic and calming. The oysters grilled were delicious as well as the clams. The staff is pretty laid back as well. Parking is for a fee in the back of the restaurant.

KW was in town to visit and I had a long laundry list of places to visit. River Oyster Bar sounded like our type of place. It didn't disappoint. Matt, was looking after us as we dined at the bar. We had delicious oysters, shrimp cocktail, gorgeous cocktails made with precision and care. Then we had the bronzino baked in... More

Who would of thought a bbq sauce would go with a Cobia fish but the bacon wrapped bbq cobia was one of best dishes we have eaten. Along with the cornbread it was an excellent meal.

If you love local places that get really busy this is it. The scene is manic but the food stays great. Fresh oysters and seafood are prepared simply and well. The wine list is very good and fair. Have gone a few times and loved the service. I am a bit old for the crowd but who cares.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Miami and it still has great food. It's just they raised the prices. The food was good, for the items we selected. But I've seen better menus that they have offered.

Unassuming outside but don't be put off. Nice decor and stunning food. Began with octopus starter, then on to grilled snapper and finished with a coconut sorbet. All excellent.

Amidst the construction there sits a little jewel. Specializing in oysters and a variety of fish mainly from central and South America. The chopped salad is filled with vegetables and the dressing was so good. We shared one between the two of us. The corn bread on the bread plate was delicious. We had seconds. We had grouper with lemon... More
