Good food but pricey and service was just fair

We really enjoyed the bird's nest seafood spectacular and the lotus duck at Tony Chan's. It sits on the marina, so there are water views. There is a large glass window on the kitchen so you can watch your food being prepared. The service was OK, but could have been a little more attentive.

We there before a concert and there were lots of men partying at the bar. Thought it would be good. Very loud, both the bar and the waitstaff liked to yell across the restaurant to each other. There is a big window where you sit that looks into the kitchen where you can watch them prepare. We had dumplings which... More

I only ate lunch here once, so I shouldn't be too negative. I ordered the "spicy shrimp with black bean sauce," which wasn't the least bit spicy. Worse yet, the rice was soggy and flavorless, as if they had poured boiling water over leftover rice. The Chinese bottled beer was good but served without a glass. I had to chase... More

Kung Pao Chicken was spectacular, and the off-menu noodles and pork dish my husband ordered in Chinese was understood precisely by the waiter and chef, and it came out exactly as ordered. While enjoying the delicious food, we had views of the glass-walled kitchen on one side (a performance in itself) and the marina on the other. You can walk... More

The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. The service was nothing to get excited over. The food was a little pricey....but likely comparable to other dining options in the area. We were staying at a nearby hotel and wanted something in close proximity....overall, a decent experience

Had a party of six. Bill with tip was $250. Everything good but very very sweet...especially the unicorn duck. Nice atmosphere. Open window to kitchen to watch the chefs prepare the meals.

We walked in to place an order for take out. The restaurant was very busy and several people were waiting for tables. There did not seem to be one particular person responsible for manning the hostess stand. It took a while for me to find someone to take my order. They were friendly and explained that it could be a... More

Went here for dinner with some colleagues after their recommendation. Good selection of food, sushi and Chinese food. I went for the mixed sushi but realised after that we were supposed to get miso soup to start, but didn't. I felt we were rushed by staff although it wAsnt that busy, and that they were all pre occupied by their... More

I have eaten in this restaurant numerous times while staying at the Doubletree and always looked forward to their food, which was very good. But when I was there earlier this week I could not eat in the restaurant as I entered it had a stale odor and somehow it felt dirty. Also the service which has always been a... More

Had dinner here one night when in the area on business. I had the beef fried rice and also tried a tiny bit of the beef and peppers. Both were very good. They also made a great Mai Tai. Would certainly eat here again.
