We ordered 2 of the combo appitizers and entrees for 7 people. Everything was delicious except for the fish which needed seasoning and tasted like egg, I had the picadillo and my husband had the chicken. The chicken was soooooo good everyone at our table tasted it and wanted more. The picadillo is ok, I prefer Venesuelan picadillo. If I... More

We were in Miami for one night and wanted some Cuban food but didn't want to stray too far from the tourist area since we'd never been here before. I guess we were there way tooo early for this place to be happening yet. It was dead, I think there was a cocktail party in the bar and us and... More

Food was just average, service was slow. Was expecting a lot more from all the raving about this place. Needs to be updated, it rough on the edges by now

I decided to treat my mom to Bongos' Mother's Day brunch and we were both so happy with everything. The food was delicious and the brunch offered a variety of options, including paella, skirt steak, eggs cooked to order, various salads, yucca, sweet plantains, various Cuban desserts and many, many other tasty items. The service was superb and the entertainment... More

What saved our night was the wonderful service provided by Jorge on a potentially stormy Friday night. He somehow managed to always be there when we needed him, and provided flawless service with a smile.

This place could be so good, but it's just not. The food is awful, really awful. It is over-cooked, fried and oily. Out of 7 of us, no one wanted to finish their meals. The service is mediocre and the ambience needing a revamp. It was not value of money.

Okay let's be honest; as soon as people hear Bongos they picture a LOT of young extravagant Cubans who don't know how to appropriately behave. Well that is NOT the case! We were immediately acknowledged by Zeyken( sorry if I destroyed it) and then right after we were taken to our VIP table which was VERY clean and convenient located... More
