I dined here on a work trip recently. The bread was delicious, and the duck was above-average. I also liked the decor. However, the service was so underwhelming that I'm reluctant to go back. If I can find a place that prepares a better duck confit, I will not return.

I was looking forward to eating here. The menu looked really good and it took me a while to decide on the mixed fish and seafood en papillotte which translates as "in parchment". It arrived as a bowl lined and covered with tinfoil. Once the foil had been pierced the waiter brought me another bowl and asked me to give... More

Coconut Grove is a cool little town center with a lot of choices. This little French Bistro fills up. "Why?" would be a good question. You sit down in a cool looking, cramped little bistro. You get treated to a complimentary glass of cheap bubbly. Very nice so far. The menu comes. It's not big, but everything is gluten free.... More

Coming from a cold climate, an open restaurant is a treat. Couple that with superb cuisine and your in heaven. If my waste line would allow, I'd eat there every night I was in town.

Birthday celebration gone bad! Been dining here for years. Love the Moules-Frites. First bit of bad news was that they were out of mussels. That can happen. No points off for that. We were the first to arrive upon opening at 6:00 pm on a Sunday evening. We were practically the last to be fed. They quickly brought bread, but... More

Came here on recommendation from a french friend as the most authentic french dining experience in the area - Did not disappoint! Portions are quite large so order accordingly! Tiny place and gets full quick - make a reservation to ensure a table. We ordered the chicken fricasse and beef filet - both cooked perfectly and delicious. Service was excellent... More

Nice place, food above average in general. The taste of the rack of lamb was very, very good. The size of the 5 pieces of "imported" meat from New Zealand were extremely small. Almost the size of a spoon. I was happy of ordering an appetiser (escargots), which were superb if you like lots of garlic. Wow!!! Some members in... More

I also go to this place for breakfast. One of my favorites. They will serve you a mimosa for breakfast on a Sunday. This place is always packed but it is worth the waiting. If you get there on a Sunday around 9am, you won't have to wait long. They serve this amazing bread, butter and a special jam that... More

We did not have reservations so there was a long wait, but the hostess did everything to accommodate us, and served a glass of champagne on the house to all those waiting outside! The place is small so we are all squeezed in but the food is worth the wait. The waiters speak french, the decoration is full to the... More

Went to the Grove at lunch time on a Sunday. Had no idea where to eat. Lulu which is 50 meters away had lines so we figured this was the place to go. But we didn't want to wait. So we were lucky to get a table here. We were really happy we did. One of the best cheese omelets... More
