Good food but amazing views!!!!

Service could have been more upscale and polished but the food was very good! This is a great place for romantic dinners with a view of Miami or Key Biscayne outside by torch light. Inside is also pleasant and great view but not nearly as romantic as outside.

I visited this spectacular waterfront restaurant which is located in a private isle called Grove Isle. It is located in the Coconut Grove, FL area. It is a restaurant that is located inside Grove Isle hotel. The restaurant specializes in seafood; however, it has quality poultry and meat as well. When it comes to seating, I recommend you request a... More

Pros: Everything worked out and great architectural design on interior and exterior. Outside dinning made the value of this place go up higher. Food was good. Chef makes great designs. Cons: It takes them a while to push out food. Waited 45 mins or more for my meal. I was missing sides from my meal. They ran out of a... More

The food is horrific, all of it . We were a large party and none of us was able to eat what we ordered. At best it garages bad and at worse it was old and expired. And it took more then 1 hr to get it. We do not recommend!

I went to Gibraltar with my family after my sister got married at the courthouse. We had previously made reservations, however, there was not a host on duty when we arrived. After being seated our waiter brought out the wrong bottle of champagne and later brought out the wrong bottle of wine (white instead of red...) the waiter was very... More

The value quite simply isn't there. For $55 (plus a 20% service charge added) per person, the brunch selection was very limited. We go to brunches frequently here in South Florida so we understand paying a premium for the ambiance and water view but this was ridiculous. There is only one 'hot' station (omelets) and probably no more than 20-25... More

I wanted to see more variety in the seafood. I would have also liked to have the option of a more fun, inexpensive menu poolside. However, your quality was amazing!! Also, more snack options for hotel guests ie. pizza, cheese & sausage plate

The outdoor view cannot be beat, but the food and service can. The restaurant automatically adds a 20% tip to bill. Even though it is printed on the bill, I did not pay attention and the waiter staff got the biggest tips of their lives for so so service. Do not leave one penny more than the actual charge on... This restaurant is in a secluded enclave with fantastic views and excellent service, but the bizarre food pairings were disappointing and would preclude me from eating dinner here again. Cauliflower, Broccolli, Spinach, etc. make good garnish, but not as the primary accompaniment to a steak dinner. Hash browns with steak? Where did this chef get his training? Our server; Eylese,... The outside seating area near the water cannot be beat, Buffet for brunch is plentiful and well prepared, and the unlimited Champagne ( actually Cava) and Mimosas, truly were unlimited. We met old friends there, and spent over three hours over brunch, and the staff always made sure our glasses were full. Worth every penny!
