We wanted to try Cuban food & were not disappointed when our friends took us to Wajiro's. The staff was friendly, however, English is not their language of choice. Fortunately our friends could speak a bit of Spanish. The food was simple, but good.

I have been to this place twice, honestly the food is average at best but the entertainment on the weekends makes it worth putting up with average to below average food. Music, jokes and some nostalgia. Next time maybe just appetizers and wine.

This is a very nondescript place in which the wait staff barely speaks and understands english. I ordered a diet coke, and they brought out a can of it. I then ordered their chicken fried chicken, but instead received chicken fried steak which had the consistency of a hockey puck. Service was also poor. I have heard they have good... More

Recently visited it is under new management the one item I was craving was no longer on the menu. What we tried was ok nothing to write home about. I preferred las Islas Canarias. On a positive note they had live entertainment and it was good.

We stumbled on this Cuban restaurant and were so glad we gave it a try. I had the shrimp dish which was yummy. My husband had the signature stuffed beef dish which was unbelievably good. Service was friendly and efficient. They even gave us a free CD of Cuban music. White tablecloths made it a little nicer than the average... More

While in Miami my son and I wanted to true traditional Cuban food. We found a local restaurant in a shopping center, Wajiros. The drinks were excellent. The food was mouth watering and the service was superb.

I visited Wajiro's last week. It is under new ownership. The service is superb. The Cuban food was excellent. The atmosphere family friendly. I went on a Friday night and the music was great. (I understand they also have music and singing on Saturdays and Sundays). I recommend it to everyone. The new owner and his wife actually took the... More

We went there recently expecting to get good cuban food and good service, since the place is not that big. And instead we were very dissapointed. The food was cold and our server tried to apologize but there wasnt even a manager to complain to. On top of that the singer kept singing the same annoying songs they play on... More
