THE Piano Bar

Magnum is a unique place on the edge of Miami's Mimo district. It's a restaurant and piano bar. The food is good , not great, the burger or Caesar salad are your best bets. My opinion is affected by the dry Veal Cutlet (if it was Veal). How could thin slice of any thing be so tough. Thin is standard but dry and tough is not. No response when I advised my server . Magnums has changed but the price is still for a quality meal!

I was recently in Miami and heard this was a good place to go and decided to try it out with friends that live in the area. What a huge disappointment. First let me start with the fact that when I arrived there was no one to greet you or seat you. Thankfully after a couple of minutes I found... More

Had dinner here with Friends on a Friday night. Had drinks at the bar first and sang along a bit with the great piano player, then sat down to dinner. Normally, don't expect too much from the food at a piano bar, but was pleasantly surprised. All 6 of us enjoyed our food. The 1/2 Caesar salad starter was great... More

I’m writing to express my indignation about what happen last night in Magnum. All this time I thought that Magnum was a respectable place with class, but far for the truth. An accident with the piano lead to a surprise behavior of the people managing the place and someone call Rick. The insults and the screaming giving to an Artist... More

"Magnum" looks shabby outside, as does the neighborhood. Inside the decor picks similarly. The crowd is old, its young, its gay, its heterosexual; yet its 50 per cent female. Seventy years ago the rat pack played this street. Now its a combination lounge, piano bar, and restaurant. This is a bar for after the dinner crowd leaves. The singing starts, and... More

It's always a pleasant experience to visit here with friends. Old style piano bar nd guests are encouraged to sing along or perform. That could be a great thing or a bad thing (LOL). Menu could stand a little updating and maybe freshen up the old decor a bit but it is consistently good.

Came many years ago and was delighted. Came last month for one of my best friends birthdays, Melissa, it was exactly like I left it! Great ambiance, fun people, live music and we are talking oldies style! Our entire table of 25+ was belting out and singing along to all the songs- we are talking 70's,80's and a little 60's-... Dinner with friends tonight. Music volume was so loud, we had to nearly scream to hear each other. Perfect place to take someone you're planning to dump. Overall, mediocre food, over-priced, plenty of drunks to keep you company. This is a bar with a piano, and that's about all...
