It was me and my husbands first time on a vacation together. I guess you could say it was our extremely delayed honeymoon. I am Cuban so I know what good Cuban food is. The food made me want to just melt into my seat it was so delicious. We ended up ordering 2 entrees and splitting them. We had... more

Food here is good. Food comes out fast. This place is always super busy. At least any time I have gone. I would take out of towners here or a quick lunch stop. Good value. more

During our cruise, we met a couple who recommended Versailles as THE place to stop for an authentic Cuban sandwich and Cuban coffee. Following their driving directions, we easily found the restaurant, which also has a bakery and walk-up window for take-out. The restaurant is no-frills, with simple table and chairs seating, sort of family style atmosphere. The service was... more

This place serves boring food. It's in Calle Ocho so it's interseting if you want to have a look at Cuban Folks and their eateries. more

It was about a 20 minute drive from our hotel in Miami Beach and it was well worth the drive to Little Havana. They didn't seem to have much parking but we lucked out with a space in the restaurant's premises. Based on the cars parked outside, this restaurant attracts a wide range of people with different financial demographics. Versailles... more

I've always made sure to bring out of towners to this place to experience REAL Cuban food. The service is quick, the food is GOOD. On March 25 at around 7pm or so, my husband and I went there once more to bring a guest. Our waiter, EVELIO, definitely could use more training on asking for your orders, on responding... more

My friends and I went to this restaurant as a special treat to finish our spring break trip to Miami. As a group of college students, cost was a special concern--but not a problem at this establishment! I even had enough left over to have desert (just a tip from me, stay away from the dulce de leche--it's basically syrup... more

I had a two-day trip to Miami, and I knew that at some point I wanted a Cuban sandwich. I used to live in Miami, and the Cuban sandwiches are one of the comfort foods I remember from that time. While my trip was centered in Coral Gables, I ventured north to 8th Street (Calle Ocho) -- the heart of... more

you haven't been to Miami. Period. The food is solid and reasonably priced, but you're here to see what Miami is like. The most culturally diverse city in the U.S. after New York and Los Angeles. Enjoy the view--it's people-watching at its best! The restaurant does not cater to tourists. Its base is locals, all of whom would go elsewhere... more

I was born and raised in Miami but I now live in California. I visit Miami 4 times per year and this is the one restaurant that I make sure to visit every single time I am in Miami. This restaurant is the center of the Cuban exile community. Excellent food and great prices. Dress fairly well to eat here. more
