Had back to back birthday dinners here. Yes it is pricey but damn is it well worth it. This year was different from last year. you get the usual bento box and soup, but now you get more sushi servings and three stages of dessert. The service is perfection! The only place where I will eat uni. Other than Naoe... More

As an expert in Japanese cuisine, I can firmly say that the quality of the sushi and food served is excellent, it is very close to the level of the top sushi restaurants in Tokyo and Kyoto. However, I must admit that a bill of $1,350 for 4 people is way too high when compared to the offering you get... More

I don't believe all the comments about this place being overrated and overpriced. The quality of the sushi is fantastic, and the price will reflect it as such. Not only is the quality superb, but the service is phenomenal, and the passion Chef has for this place cannot be mistaken nor replaced. My husband and I spent a week in... More

It was a good experience but what we paid was very, very, very expensive. The have a pre fix menu which is very Japanese you have to go there, first with a lot of money and second prepared to taste rare flavors

We were five people who decided to have dinner at Naoe. Two of the company wasn't that keen about sushi, however they made comprimise. The sushi was really delicious, so delicious that even those two in the company who are not big fan of sushi loved it. I could definetely give five stars, however despite the fact that the dinner... I've been to sushi spots the world over, including Tokyo so I feel my opinion is qualified. This place is over-rated. The food takes way too long, spending nearly 3 hours of your time doing waiting for what is good sushi. Not AMAZING, just good. If you have the choice, go to Zuma or Nobu, MUCH better value, food, atmosphere.... More

I can't believe how much I payed for what I got, crazy!!! The place is boring, no atmosphere poorly decorated, no vibe. The food is super slow coming and really nothing impressive, in fact just edible! The best is the steamed rice & miso soup, so much for nothing. It has been the worst money spent on a meal in... I went here to celebrate a very special occasion with my mom - graduating with my PhD! We had the 9:30pm seating and left around midnight - this dinner is an investment in $ AND time. We were both very full at the end of it. I don't know if I could even begin to do justice to the food... More

I was put off initially by the total lack of atmosphere or decor but at meal's end it becomes clear that nothing need to detract from chef Kevin's skill and the show of the experience that will rivet your gaze for the evening (sit at the bar!!). From museum quality serving pieces to the artistry of each piece of sushi,... More
