Good local Cuban.

The food was delicious. Both the tostones and maduros were very good. Black beans were delicious as was the tops vieja. The palomilla steak was good but no where near enough onions. Would definitely go back. We also had very good service.

Pleasant surprise to walk into a restaurant that feels like home. Service was wonderful, food better than mom. Must try mariquitas...but our meal was wonderful

The food here is great, but the service is really slow! The chicken I had was very flavorful and juicy and the fried plantains were delicious. I recommend eating here if you are looking for a good spot to eat great Cuban food but are not in a rush to go somewhere since the staff does take awhile to serve... More

Malanga, on US1 South and 124, is a little jewel in this part of town. The main attraction, of course, is "crema de malanga", a typical Cuban dish much beloved by our ancestors as a sure cure for stomach discomfort. But in truth, the place is much more than that. You can have a delicious palomilla steak, a pork dish,... More

Found this gem through a Groupon, and couldn't be happier! Excellent Masas de Puerco (pork chunks) and Ice Cold Beer! Good sized portions. Friendly staff. Bring someone that speaks Spanish to translate the meanings of the phrases on the wall.

Been here several times since it opened... Always good quality , good atmosphere but two last times even tough quality is as usual good and for us is (as they say) best pan con lechon in town, I should say , service is becoming worse and worse... Last one,,,, slow, all staff watching screens on tv and no giving attention... More

We stop here when we are in the Falls area. It is a nice place for dessert and coffee. Their cortadito is good. I've never had the bad service that was mentioned in other reviews and I enjoy that it is a little more subdued than many of the Cuban cafes we visit. Sometimes you need a quiet place. My... More

So my better 1/2 purchased a $15 discount coupon with the purchase of $22 or more at Malanga Cafe. We were on our way to the nearby mall and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat, We thought, when will we be back to this area again? Well, after reading the other reviews and sharing our experience, I'm... More
