Description: db Bistro Moderne is Daniel Boulud’s interpretation of the new generation of Parisian bistros, whose classically trained chefs offer creative cuisine in a casual, comfortable and contemporary setting. Featuring traditional French fare met by flavors of the American market presented by Executive Chef Matthieu Godard, db Bistro Moderne is designed to capture the energy and style of its Manhattan counterpart, yet uniquely tailored to the rhythm of Miami life. Located in downtown’s JW Marriott Marquis Miami, db Bistro Moderne offers a vibrant, urban setting, where guests will enjoy great cooking in a relaxed yet beautifully distinctive environment. The restaurant’s interiors by renowned designers, Yabu Pushelberg, feature a dining area with striking contemporary accents and soaring 18-foot ceilings, as well as a stylish bar and lounge, street-level terrace overlooking the Miami river and two private dining rooms. In addition to its acclaimed contemporary French-American cuisine, db Bistro Moderne presents over 150 affordable wines beginning at $25 per bottle.

No noteworthy vegetarian options in the menu. This restaurant shuts down the kitchen early on slow nights -- especially early in the week. It pays to call and check.

I just finished having the most amazing lunch here with friends. I had been told a while back, by friends, that the food here was good. I could actually kick myself for taking to so long do finally dine here. The food really was delicious and I can't remember the last time I had such and enjoyable lunch in Miami.... More

Food: outstanding (had oyster and prime rib specials -- to die for). Service: impeccable. I cannot recommend this restaurant more. Took away the bad taste of staying at Casa Moderna. This place...the Marriott Marquis...all class.. Will stay here next time and sure to eat at DB.

This Miami outpost of Michelin 3 star chef Daniel Boulud's casual bistro brand is well worth the visit. His bistro cuisine (from classic Coq au vin to modern creations like the sinful foie gras burger) is delicious comfort food at expectedly high prices, on target for the foodie set. If you can afford it, go!

A very enjoyable evening. The service was professional, the meal was memorable. The pork two ways entree was spectacular

After dining extensively in Miami and the surrounding areas, I have to vote this restaurant the best. The service is excellent, as is the food and wine selection. Great decor - makes me feel like I am in New York. Interesting food choices but not eccentric. Its not cheap but the quality matches the price. I have been to db... More

Why would The same restaurant with the same menu offer two different dining rooms, one with table clothes and one without. If you are sitting in the dining room without the table cloth, like I did, this perceived slight perplexes the mind. If you allow yourself to overcome this indignity then the rest of the evening moves forward without a... More

Wonderful stay at the hotel, but the absolute worst restaurant I've ever been in- the food wasn't even edible, my coffee had coffee grounds in it, etc...... definitely not what I'd expect from a 4-star hotel

To quote Thomas Fuller, "If an as$ goes traveling, he will not come home a horse". The same cannot be said of my palate. I had been totally content with living off anything I could fit into a microwave, be it ramen noodles or frozen dinners. This all changed after my first meal at Daniel Boulud's Bistro in the Marriott... More
