Great late night dinner!

My 16 year old daughter and I were just finished with a long volleyball tournament and wanted to get something to eat (and I wanted something to drink!). We found George's and loved it! We were very casual and they welcomed us in. I ordered a Corona and they had no lime. What full bar has no... read more

A waiter stood on the counter where the kitchen staff places meals ready for service. He unrolled a tv screen from the ceiling, and we watched as various objects tumbled out of the screen into people's food. As if the shoes on the counter next to the food was not bad enough! We walked out immediately. Repulsive.

This little restauant has a true french bistro ambience, One is greeted with a free glass of ok champagne for dinner. We had a squach soup which was fair , although slightly watery, a lobster salad that sported a small but fair portion of lobster and a strange fennel dressing, my wife had a decent chicken , which wass flavorful,... Went there for first time a couple of weeks ago, it was a Saturday night. Service was rather slow, our table was serviced by three different waiters and they did not really coordinate between them very well, asking for things we had already ordered, not bringing what we had ordered. We ordered the lamb shank, it was really good. Inside... More

Had a club sandwich and it was pretty good. Service was also good. Complimentary mimosa on weekends made a significant difference. Would come again.

We visited George's for a Sunday brunch. Service was slow at first, but once the waitress took our order everything else flowed smoothly. We ordered french toast, pancakes, eggs benedict and scrambled eggs. Portions are adequate and prices are reasonable, average price for each plate was $10 (13-7.50 range). Nice ambience, the area is surrounded by other fun locales. My... More

Great imagination and good taste to make a vodka martini with blue chease filling the olives. Balanced Salmon tartare on a basil touch and a shrimp caesar salad. Too fancy? Try the bri and prociutto burguer.....very good!

Good old french restaurant, that is been forever in Coconut Grove. Will never disappoint you. Ideal to go to celebrate a birthday as they will surprise your guests with some flashy birthday celebration.

George's used to be fun and good but I think he sold this location and now it's just blah. Also, hate to say it but the last 2 visits brought on some stomach issues and I swore never to return.
