My experience is based only on the* Bar Side*: After several attempts and observation to Managnent, Previews reviews etc ; It is kind of sad and big disappointment that Boteco has just become another "Dive Bar" in Miami with aptitude & pretentious that it is a cool Tropical venue of Brasilian Happiness & Culture ambassador. Last night I give it... More

overpriced diner for a very poor quality ! Service was very bad. We waited one hour for our food. It is a tourist trap. Keep away.

Nice atmosphere, good caipirinhas, friendly staff. They have live music some nights and ladies night on Tuesdays.

Was looking for a typical Brazilian spot, and this one exceeded my expectations. Excellent food, excellent music and outstanding service!

From the outside Boteco looks like a little hole in the wall but this place is HUGE; but with a friendly beachy-cabana home feel to it. Great spot for groups because they have plenty of seating for large groups. They have a great Happy Hour with Caipirinha at $4 each! My favorite is the Passion Fruit Caipirinha, which are tasty... This is my second time at Boteco on 916 NE 79th street. DO NOT go to the one called Boteco Copacabana in south beach. It's not the same . It's worth the 25 dollar cab ride for a great meal. Start with the famous cheese balls, followed by the garlic shrimp as an appetizer enough for two. Then The mothers... More

This stuff was amazing. Gluten free bread naturally with tapioca flour was a favorite for us all. My husband and I shared the grilled steak and white rice as well as the sausage. Everything was great. We ate there twice during our 3 night stay in the Miami area. Very loud at night but still ok for kids.

This place was recommended by a local Brazilian that lives in the area. We are Brazilians too and were looking for a less Americanized/touristy place. The food is okay, huge portions and they don't really tell you that. You could easily share most of the plates. The taste is good, meat is succulent and tender, yucca is great, soft, crispy....
